Bitcoin (BTC) Mid-Day Update: On Track to $10,726
SUMMARY
This morning update had blue wave 3 and 4 and price seemed to be putting in wave 5. It was indicated how unlikey it would be for this current rise to decisively breach the upper white trend line.
The blue Elliott Waves have been slightly updated to show that waves 3 and 4 are now in and 5 should tage the $10,726 or briefly pierce the white line.
Here is how the Inverse Head & Shoulders fits into the larger white upper trend line. The white trend line and the blue Neckline both pose as resistance points. This is why the current rise is unlikely to bust through both of these lines. The blue arrow line shows a potential pathway and represents wave 3 of 3 which is the only wave with enough strength to move it upwards past the resistances.

I arrived at Steemit by one reason only; to learn Elliot Waves from the one acknowledged best at this.
I've been trading for a (very) long time. Elliot waves and similar analysis is going to help you gain structure, but beyond it, anything that has you creating a series of if, then statements on your charts is overall very (putting it lightly) tough on discretion.

I traded quite a bit stocks years ago, but a family crisis turned my life upside down and I had to ease down the stress.
Back then I never tried to understand TA, but traded on gut feeling and fundamentals. With all the fud and hype in crypto that is no good combo... Made a lot last year but mostly because the bull market we had and a few good trades.
Came here in december and started studying, and have made few but mostly successful trades because learning the alternatives in EW made me able to stand off all the distractions better. I have also made me a habit of not to trade all in all out.

The price of the peak (wave 5 of 5) is wrong. it is positioned at 11.000,- and not at 10.726,- ... or do i get something wrong here?
