Witness Update with me @c0ff33a ☕️
I'm pleased to report everything is running smoothly with my two Witness Servers, which are both using the current version of steemd 20.9 , the Steem blockchain has been reliable and dependable throughout 2019 - and we are now looking forward to roll out of new features and developments.
The Steem Wallet is being moved as you can read in this @steemitblog post, the new location will be https://wallet.steemit.co/ and in the near future when you access your wallet from steemit.com it will take you to this new location. This change will enable quicker and easier development of social features on steemit.com, and shortly the social.app condenser will be launched on it.
If you would like to see your feed in an entirely different way, head over to steeve.app this new condenser for the Steem Blockchain uses AI to display your feed based on your previous interactions - this means you are more likely to see posts from the people you follow and interact with the most. It really works, and I find it the perfect way to discover posts when I am looking for new content to enjoy.
Above you can see that steeve.app shows you content of interest from days ago not just brand new posts, it is this discovering posts throughout the ai is unique. And a handy point to grab another new blockchain based game, https://moonsteem.com which is a gambling type game with a unique way to grow in game credits - you can upvote the @moonsteem posts or comments.
@steemmonsters continues to be a popular Steem Blockchain based game, bringing new users to the Steem community and offering an exciting exchange system through the market to buy and sell cards. SteemMonsters only requires a small initial investment and then you can build value through the reward cards received. And the new DrugWars game might not be to everybody's taste, but the simple format and return on investment has piqued many peoples interest.
The UK is having a one day meet up on Saturday 6th April called SteemcampUK organised by @lloyddavis and actively promoted by @shanibeer - the description for the day taken from the Eventbrite page

My Witness Rank is holding steady at position 75, with 593 Witness Voters. As a Steem Witness I continue to support community projects and members with delegation, and also support our diverse range of content creators with upvotes and comments. For the Steem Blockchain to continue growing it needs our community of people to remain active and engaging, keeping users here and active is one of it's biggest challenges. The greatest challenge we face on Steemit is getting our posts seen, I have always believed the simplest and best value way of doing this is by commenting on the blog posts of others, the more you engage people and interact with them the greater the chance they will visit your own blog and return the favour. Thank you very much, I really appreciate every Witness vote and do put a great deal of time into curating various communities and delegating Steem Power to community projects. I also have a few new ideas which should develop later on this year.
Good news about the steem wallet I am glad to learn a bit about the transition @c0ff33a thank you.
I haven't really used drugwars app, does it have a good return of investment?
Thank you very much, yes the transition of the Steem Wallet will mean more changes to Steemit.com and more regular, it held up many things because of the security it needs. I'm looking forward to seeing how steemit.com will evolve and develop from now onwards.
Regarding DrugWars I think early adopters benefitted from the best returns. I have read a few posts mentioning the reward fund it works on could in theory run out - it relies on people buying upgrades with Steem rather then waiting a long time to earn them. In theory of people just stick to taking daily rewards without paying in the fund would eventually run out - although the developers seem to be on top of that and have some solutions.

Hi @c0ff33a great update and thank you for the mention of SteemCampUK which I am co-hosting with @lloyddavis.
Lloyd is a fantastic and very skilled facilitator and uses an open space/unconference approach. I was very pleased that he agreed to hold the next SteemCampUK in Leicester, where I was able to negotiate a free venue at the Phoenix Arts Cantre. We really look forward to great conversations and meeting people from around the UK.

Well @c0ff33a I haven't a clue what about 90% of this post is about, but it all seems rather important. I am glad wiser heads than I are in charge round here. And I LOVE steemit and hope it grows and continues onwards and it seems like this post is about that.
The other thing you mention that allows you to see your page in a new light? I'm never really certain how to use such aps but I like the idea that it would give you more of an 'old school' blog feel. I miss that a LOT from the old blog days. I'll see if I can find a way to use that ap to see how it shows my page differently. I'd love to be able to have 'favourites' and other little doo-dads and add ons like one could do with plug and play and drop and go in Blogger in the mid 2000's.

Yes, you can view your blog in various formats by using a different front end. For example https://www.steeve.app you can visit the website and log in with steemconnect - then view your blog in an entirely different way. You can also use a mobile app like @partiko - which again has slightly different ways to view posts and comments - and also offers rewards for posting and commenting with the app.
