#Ulog Going Back to the Gym Day # 5 : I Gained Back Some Weight Because I Pigged Out

Day # 5 of my going back to the gym series seems to be my most saddest blog update as I gained some weight and I know it is my fault. You see the love for food does not simply disappear suddenly when you just decided not to eat anymore food. You need to battle it out everyday and unfortunately there are a lot of external factors that are hard to say no too a.k.a. your friends. If someone invited you out to eat food with them it is hard to say no to as it is the only time you get to hang out with them. And that is what happened I pigged out in a buffet. 

Yes I know not everything is loss with just one day of pigging out, not everything you eat that day becomes to fat anyway. But seeing yourself breaking your diet is like a bad thing to see.  That is why I went back to the gym after resting for 3 hours after the buffet. 

My Exercise

I was really motivated that night as I know I need to go back to my A game after that buffet so I did some Leg Workouts and Shoulder Workouts. The Latter is what I recorded and will be showing you right in this post.

Run The Hell Out in the Thread mill

At a speed of 8.5 Miles Per Hour I run the hell out for 30 minutes which I personally believe is an unbelievable thing to see that my body can do. Well 8.5 mph is not that fast but it is better than walking to me. The calorie counter said I burned over 245 calories in that jog/run I did.

My Shoulder Workout

Exercise # 1 : Shoulder Press

I did some shoulder press exercise for my first workout and I can tell you that light weights are easy but when it comes to 55 lbs dumbbells it became hard, I can only lift 6 reps from my heaviest set. 

Exercise # 2 : Front Raise

I did some front raises as I need to focus on making my shoulder more broad. Also I have a problem lifting heavy weights with this kind of exercises. I regularly use plates with my front raise but since I am focusing more on muscle symmetry I figured dumbbell versions of any workout are a good solution.

Exercise # 3 : Shoulder Press Machine

I don't know a lot of shoulder workouts so I give this machine a try as it is another variation of the shoulder press. This machine is called the converging shoulder press. It might be because of the counter-balance at the back which makes all the reps harder to do. 

Exercise # 4 : Lateral Raises

I also did my lateral raises on the machine as well. Luckily this machine is also good for some isolation workout, even if you only raise your left hand it will still continue to work. After using both arms I did some isolation workout.

Exercise # 5 : Dumbbell Shrugs

I did some dumbbell shrugs as a workout for my traps muscles which are also one major part of the shoulder muscle group. I did my sets with slow movements and holding it for a while in its top position. It really works, did some cable shrugs after this. 

The Results

After Pigging Out I moved back up to the 89 kg and yes I am not proud of it. But not all is lost with just one day of breaking out in a diet. As you can still see my tummy got big because of the food that I all ate as you can see on my previous post. I know that I still have a long way to go and this might be one of my most motivated comebacks ever as I am sharing my journey to you guys. I hope that you support me on this one.

I can easily lose the 400 grams I gained back but what I want is the 6 kg target I want to lose which I think is achievable still. I just need to get motivated and be consistent on what I will be doing.

I am also face a problem like you... But i get no enough time for exercise

Try doing it on weekends. It makes a big difference. Even if you exercise in your home it will be a big help.
