Travel Digest

For our first featured post of today @lpv takes us to Gozo and Malta. In this incredibly well made travel video, we get some beautiful shots and a lot of information on Malta's history, culture and habits. With the islands being colonized multiple times, by multiple countries, it's no surprise there is a wealth on history to be found on the small archipelago. Malta is still a very religious country, with most people being Roman Catholic, often you'll find one feast or another in the name of the local saint. @lpv was here during February, on the brink of good weather. This is a good time to visit, you won't find a lot of tourists around, as they all arrive in the summer! Make sure to turn on English subtitles if you don't speak French.

For our second featured post @barge takes us to Fakarava in French Polynesia. A volcano now, slowly sunken underneath the surface, makes for a very interesting geological formation. Consisting out of a tiny square strip of land and a huge lagoon on the inside. This crystal clear lagoon is brimming with marine life, making it paradise come true. Lunch with Manta Rays swimming around you, beautiful sunsets, coconut palms and a snorkel/diving experience to never forget, you'll find it all here.

For our last featured post @for91days takes us to the Palacia Nacional in Sintra, Portugal. Inside the palace @for91days guides us through the stunning Swan Room - named because of all the swans painted on the roof - and the Magpie Room - with an almost unbelievable geometric grid of 136 ceiling panels. And those are far from all the rooms there are to see in the palace! But what makes this place truly unique, is the kitchen and more specific it's huge chimneys. Those chimneys cover the entire kitchen area and are 33 meters high!
