Attractions of Sapa #11 Thac Bac Waterfall
Thac Bac Waterfall is also referred to as Silver Falls and is found in Sapa, the mountainous region of northwest Vietnam. traveling out of the hillside town, also called Sapa, the Thac Bac Waterfall is about 8 miles along the Tram Ton Pass, which is the highest mountain pass in the whole of Vietnam. The source of the water here stems from Lo Sui Tong Mountain.
The Thac Bac Waterfall really is an impressive sight. It dominates the beautiful surrounding countryside. The water drops about 650 feet down the hillside.twisting and turning as it does and passing under a quaint footbridge that has been built about a third of the way up. This has become a very popular tourist attraction in Sapa.
The whole area surrounding it is bestowed with scenic beauty. It varies at every turn, for rocky mountains, to lush valleys, wonderful terraced hillsides to the amazing natural wonders like the Thac Bac Waterfall. No visit to Sapa would be complete without taking time out to come and see this lovely waterfall.
