New Glasses, Folder And Sketchbook - All PAID By Steemit!
Today is a "short post day". I write a long post (500 words and above) every single weekday (on top of sketching/drawing/painting that you see on my posts), and I am taking breaks on weekends.
Writing long posts requires a lot of hard work. And I usually do it at night after my kids are off to bed. But by the time I am sitting in front of the laptop I am so exhausted I usually can't think clearly and that's why I struggle to write. Anyway, many wonder what do I do during daytime then?
See all those artwork I posted each and every day? Yup, I work on those at daytime ON TOP of taking care of my children and doing tons of housework.
I am a busy bee. I hardly have time to relax and watch TV or anything like that.
Anyway, I am not complaining. My life is full of blessings. There are so many less fortunate people in this world, like those living in Venezuela who are facing challenging times due to political instability. You can read @meanmommy33 interview with courageous @gabyoraa to find out more here.
So what's with the picture? Oh, I have a new pair of glasses which I paid using my Steemit earnings. It's multifocal (I am aging!) and I kid you not, it cost a bomb! (MYR1400, roughly SBD80). My old glasses broke after my daughter accidentally sat on it. And I have a new folder to store my most recent drawings/paintings and a new sketchbook from Monologue. And I paid all of them using my Steemit money! I am not bragging, I am just saying I am so grateful for this platform, the community support that I received and all that is amazing!

I can relate with you because i am busy bee too. Nowadays after Jansen got discharged from hospital, I am still juggling around the house with unending housechores. Ganbatteh if you know this term.

Annnnddd...that is why you see all my posts on Steemit late at night, after everyone is asleep and house work is done. Mommy work never end, and yes steemit change lives, I have experienced it twice!

Well, first of all congratulations on being able to fund things with your Steemit money; that's awesome and a testament to how this community really IS changing lives!
And yes, "long form" posts are a lot of work! By the time you get everything laid out, and photos selected and editing? A lot of mine take a couple of hours, maybe more.

Exactly! Almost jatuh dari kerusi when the lady told me the price. The priciest glasses I ever own dan itu glasses yg paling murah. Belum lagi yg ada photo gray, anti-glare etc. Sebab sa silau bah and can't drive at night so I asked how much klu yg ada anti-glare....RM2K ah mampos!!
Wow!! These optical companies ah, really can make money oh!! macam2 benefits added in and ended up the price, atukoooi!
