The Spotlight
Each week, we spotlight one Vision Quester whose Artwork exemplifies the theme, and illuminates the mission: Envisioning a brilliant and beautiful New Dawn. Our approach aligns with the traditional Vision Quest, which is a dedicated search for inspiration. Here, we bring our Inner Visions into focus, prompted by the question: What Does My Higher Self See?
Life after life steemit vision quest entry by @pual
This week's spotlight shines on @pual, whose digital illustrations frequently appear here, in the highlights of our Vision Quests. @pual's artistry is documented in a video, demonstrating the artist's creative process within Corel Painter. We appreciate the symbolism in this image, with the acorn, and all the "life after life" that emanates from a single seed. We see that a "seed" is also planted through the actions of the people, as their actions yield reactions, in a ripple of karma.
I was thinking about karma and the idea of your actions in one life "planting the seeds" of your next.

The Showcase
The SVQ showcase is presented in the order of Flow, meaning it is as is. Here, we celebrate the Visions we've received this week, taking another look at the wealth of wisdom that exists in our collective subconscious, allowing the Artwork to radiate, ripple, and echo. Truly, this type of visioning exercise is capable of expanding the consciousness of all the world, because when we imagine the world we wish to live in, we actually think, feel, and materialize these thoughts, words, and actions.
Steemit Vision Quest - Life After Life by @sagescrub
This post by @sagescrub resonates. Through his poetry, @sagescrub runs with the "Life After Life" theme, articulating the infinite nature of love.
Poem Excerpt:
Breathe time in, breathe time around.
Time breathes out, breathes me in.
Time has no start, time has no end.
Love in this space, love in the air.
Love knows no start and it knows no end
Love fills my body and fills my soul.
My breath moves around the figure eight.
I am awake.

This art film blends imagery that whirls with words that bring wonder. The entire sky ripples and sways like waves, just as @cronosclocks questions what is real. I am awe-inspired by the high level of curiosity I see in this artist.

Steemit Vision Quest: Life After Life After Life After Life... by @fishyculture
Your story here is so big, you know. These topics you're discussing are so vital to a person's grip on life, I feel. You're getting into the meaning of life, and the fragility of it, and the continuation of it. In my spiritual circles, throughout my life, I've wondered about everlasting life, with various emotions. I used to be afraid of that infinity idea, as I think I've been terrified of the sameness forever, the redundancy... More recently, I've embraced a different outlook, seeing that a person can be born again, again and again, even within the one lifetime, and the Spirit continues to shift just as the Love continues to create and expand. I really enjoy these concepts and conversations, and I appreciate you for bringing them to the surface.

Life After Life Story. My entry to to Steemit Vision Quest - Week 8: Life After Life. by @sashagenji
Nice storytelling, yes, I dig the way you're running with the "Life After Life" theme as pages turning in a book. Yes, and I like the spontaneity I sense in your creative process, as if you're traveling in the Flow of freestyle thinking. I like your style @sashagenji. You seem to be one spritely and spirited human being, full of life and light, brilliance and beauty. Thank you for sharing you.
Story Excerpt:
And again I found myself in the different place as if this purple light brought me to the other place in the book I read. And again I do not know what was the ending of the previous story. I'm again involved in a new one. This time there are no people here. There is a world of beautiful infinite nature and beings that I have never seen before.
The Cycle by @figuringoutsrn
What a precious set of words you've discovered and assembled here, so relevant to the exploration of "Life After Life." Thank you for sharing this with us. And yes, in a really special way, your illustration here encompasses that expanding ripple that is life everlasting.

Life after life. Day 18 Steemit poetry school and Steemit Vision quest week 8. by @girlbeforemirror
Yes, and you continue to fly, flow, grow, growl... You caterpillar in and butterfly out. You and your words continue to travel. I'm thankful for your life. Thankful for your generous way of sharing your life, caring for us.
Poem Excerpt:
For I have revealed at times
The true nature of myself,
Their response was that of
Endeared true spirit kin.
Swaddled, wrapped as a newborn
Within soulful embrace,
I refocused with the will
To once again begin.
Steemit Vision Quest -Week #8: {unofficial entry} - Life After Life by @rensoul17
Yeah! What a joy reading and sensing the love in the core of your poetry. As you say, love is at the core of who you are, who I am, who we are. Across lifetimes. Thank you.
Masterful writing, and reciting, and reminding. I admire so much of this, and especially your note about the part that remains constant between lifetimes: the love. I believe love must be the very origin of all existence, including each individual's life. Returning to the love is your invitation here, I feel. Dwelling in that love is your invitation, I feel. Feeling the lightness in that love is your invitation, I feel.
To Remember what is constant and to attach my anchor, my heart to those things
And those beings with whom I will be connected to, and be intertwined with forever.

Visualizing “Life After Life” for Steemit Vision Quest [Original Videos and Poetry] by @cabelindsay
One specific event that twisted my life around at an early age was the disappearance of my dad. He fell into a river with a whirlpool, and his body never surfaced. This happened in 1996, when I was 16 years old. Here is a collection of artworks created in response to this event, visualizing “Life After Life” for Steemit Vision Quest - Week 8.
The Rewards
Today's showcase is a collection of Works by some of Steemit's most wildly imaginative and gifted creative thinkers. We appreciate these people for braving the storms of this day and bringing themselves into the Flow that is Steemit Vision Quest. This a true act of courage, and it deserves to be applauded, and rewarded. We wish for the humble beginnings of our rewards pool to grow immensely, so we can give with Great Spirit.
The Continuation
Thanks to @eaglespirit, @rensoul17, and @girlbeforemirror, for co-facilitating this Quest. Thanks to each of this week's Artists. Thanks to you, for being here, and for being you. And thanks to the invisible Forces, always working wonders with us. As we can see from Week 8, SVQ continues to create a sense of awe, with a blend of surreal, ultra-real, and superconscious Visions! A new Journey is underway in Week 9, with the theme: The Road.
Such beautiful participations! Thank you <3
Thanks for seeing the beauty in these. It's a delight to my eyes too.
I just wanted to share this little painting. I did the premed track in college and when I would shadow physicians I was always struck by how people were so unwilling to let loved ones go. A specific case was a women in her 80's who needed a mainline to feed her and her family wanted her to go through a stomach surgery. If that surgery went well and she could eat, the maybe after a month or so they cpuld operate on her brain (cant remember if it was a tumor or what it was). She had all these ivs in her hands and Was basically unconscious and it made me so sad that they would put her through so much pain for what seemed like a very small, unlikely reward. This painting was my sort of peace with it ❤
Also, if it was inappropriate for me to post this here like this, let me know and Ill delete , no problems or hard feelings ✌❤
Ooh, I like this image, and I appreciate you for sharing it here. Thank you. Feels totally appropriate to me, aligning nicely with the theme. Reminds me of a story I heard from a Lakota elder named Chief Marvin Swallow. I'll paraphrase:
Wow this is so cool. I am now envisioning what after life looks like. And the participants really gave great insights. Bravo!
Very cool comment. Thanks for the Vision you brought here too, just by being here and seeing.
Yeah...what could be there after life? Made me contemplate about my existence here in earth. Am I good enough? Or bad? I agree...we reap what we sow.
Thanks for your note. To me, it's a big question: Is there an afterlife? A lot of artworks are created on this subject, and we're seeing a few new ones here. There's so much to imagine. I intend to keep on imagining until I see for myself.
Thank you @cabelindsay! It has been rewarding to be part of this vision quest!
I appreciate your entry very much. Glad to hear you feel it's been a rewarding experience.
Makes so proud that you enjoy what I do, it makes me want to keep going. Thank you so much!
Ah, I'm really happy to hear that. Yes, I greatly admire your work. It's been fun visioning with you, sister.
Awesome initiatve! I'll be following you closely :-)
Cool! Thanks so much. Hope you jump in and participate, if you're feeling called. Wishing you a great day.
