First up though is a #beautifulsunday (hosted by @ace108) photo with a #funkyedit (hosted by @krazypoet) with Saturation to the Max.

I have spent a long weekend at the Great British coastline, Friday was lovely and sunny for the drive over. Saturday we had sun in the morning then it clouded over. And Sunday - cloudy all day - I should have grabbed a sunny photo on Friday. This is the best we got Sunday evening, a little bit of sun as it set.

It's been an interesting week to be fair, from Starting last Sunday evening with a painful toe, hobbling round work for two days until Wednesday night getting home to find my entire right foot had decided to swell up. That resulted in spending 4 hours sat at Accident and Emergency for the Doctor to decide I had some sort of infection in my foot and prescribed a 7 days of antibiotics - 4 tablets per day. They have helped bring the swelling down, and it's a bit less painful - but I have been so sleepy! Literally the last 4 nights I have slept 12 hours straight through each night - crazy! And the combination of being away on holiday so we are busy doing things all day, and sleeping so much means pretty much nothing has got done on Steemit over the last week.

No luxury hotels though, we stay in a caravan. It's quite luxurious to be fair, even has it's own balcony at the back with seating.

We have been to see the sea - it's not looking so inviting though.

Someone is braving the ocean though, a hardy breed the Northerners are.

The seagulls are like the Mafia, they don't move out of your way just stare you down.

Every time I see these tall wavy things I wonder what on earth they are there for.

Don't worry folks, I have no intention of going in so you won't need to rescue me!

Donkey rides on the beach, quaint and traditional.

"Call me big ears again and I'm gonna stamp on your good foot."

David Hasselhoff is starting to realise Blackpool isn't that glamorous after all - but at least they have plenty of kebab houses for his late night snack.

And yes that is a Ferris wheel on a Pier. You have to wonder how the Health and Safety Executive missed this one - if I leave a trailing power cord across the floor at work it's a potential death trap with horrendous fines.

And that's what holding it up - I tell you now anyone that walks on the beach and sees below that pier - never goes up onto it! Maybe they are hoping the sea is in when then Ferris wheel topples off so it has a soft landing.

You can get a ride along the sea front in a fancy horse and cart.

It's pretty fancy and they don't hang around!

Time to hit the arcades, lot's of gaming machines and penny droppers.

Fun play areas.

Some bowling.

Some fish and chips after all that excercise.

Then back out to enjoy Blackpool Tower.

Spider boy likes climbing all over this climbing frame, he found a fun trick too.

Yes, that is an improbable move but some how he makes it work.

Crazy Golf - now that is a fun way to pass the time.

With relatively short holes it's just a matter of tapping the ball gently with restraint.

That's my eldest looking for the ball he tapped so gently with restraint it went over 4 holes and right passed my head - fffzzttt. Fortunately I had my head down looking at my iPhone or it would have hit me - just what I need a sore head to go with a sore foot.

After all that excitement a relaxing sit in the beer garden is called for, only I can't have a beer because I'm on medication. So I just have the sit instead. Put my foot up.

I found some flowers though - always good for a post a few flowers!

And this one has a crazy little critter on it!

Anyway that setting sun can only mean it's my nap time.

And a #FunkyEdit to finish - playing on the magic mushrooms lol. I hope you all had a more exciting and pain free #SublimeSunday then I did!
