Welcome to #SublimeSunday a tag presenting you with the unique opportunity to post something a bit different, wacky, crazy or just whatever takes your fancy and instigated by me @c0ff33a ☕️
First up though is a #beautifulsunday (hosted by @ace108) photo with a #funkyedit (hosted by @krazypoet) with Saturation to the Max.
Not so beautiful, in fact it's been a rainy weekend in the UK. This evening photograph was taken from a footbridge over the motorway.
My Sunday involved a wet drive to York, you can enjoy the speeded up journey above.
I found some orchids to photograph
And some pictures of traditional Yorkshire
Maps showing the various regions
A stroll outside in the rain found some chickens
There were even some little baby ones too
And some guienea fowl although they were not hanging around for long.
Middle of the road -it's become a bit of a tradition
This road is only wide enough for one car, occasionally you will find sections cut out of the verge where vehicles can pass.
And it certainly is wet - you can see the puddles.
So I went to hunt out some soggy flowers to photograph
And they are certainly wet!
It seems the hot and dry weather from earlier in the year has well and truly passed now.
Water droplets are collecting on all the petals.
Plenty of late summer blooms to enjoy though
I liked this big flowers in particular
And to finish today a #FunkyEdit of my boy at the bounce house

Beautiful flowers @c0ff33 they are made colorful to attract bees and other pollinators. It seems to be raining there very often I see.
Thank you very much my friend, we have had quite a year it was freezing to start with then come May it turned super warm and dry - and we had that hot and dry weather right through June and July. So the rain right now is a blessing - and finally the plants grow a little better. Thank you for dropping by, I really appreciate it I know it's not easy for you at all.

It also shows that beauty can be found even on a rainy, gloomy day. :)
Thank you and yes we can find beauty everywhere - sometimes the best is right in front of our eyes and we never even see it. I have seen other people post flowers and plants with rain drops like this and always enjoyed them - I never thought I could match them, and these while not perfect I will say are a good representation of the raindrop beauty.

Thank you very much, it was a drama free ride for a change. Actually that road is the worst - it connects many small remote farms - and being Farmers they are of course Billionaires and own supercharcharged vehicles - the speed they thrash up and down that narrow road is scary - you take your life in your hands round every blind bend - in the time it took me to crouch and take a photo I could have been turned into a bonnet ornament on a Supercharged Ford Raptor!

I love the droplets on the petals and these are so beautiful.
To be honest we have had some scorching weather and super hot Bank Holidays in the UK this year - and this damp and cool one was a relief! And I thought those droplets worked well - I don't have an amazing camera just my iPhone but it does a reasonable job of taking photos - especially given it has me pointing it haphazardly at things to taken them!
