(Not quiet) Full turtle (G21) - a Guzzi SF adventure

Guzzi just stood there, crying. And smiling.

And crying some more.

And laughing.

Jazz kept her cool for as long as she could through this sorry performance - trying to be sympathetic and all.

She looked around checking for hostiles, but the smell of roasted FooBar was beginning to drive her crazy, and it wasn't helped at all by the chalky taste of the ration bar she was sucking on. The Garship got so much right, it was utterly un-nerving to discover how wrong it could be with regards to survival rations. She put the bar in her pocket and suddenly understood. Survival rations. Designed to last for longer than a meal. Tastes so bad we don't want to actually eat it. She looked up to the roof and imagined the Garship high, high high in orbit, then shook her fist in faux rage. Schez knuckle!

Suddenly she couldn't keep it in any more. "Schez this. Enough's enough! Guzzi! What already? What's happened?"

Guzzi didn't respond.

She grabbed her gun and the magic grenade from Guzzi's belt and did a quick walk of the imaginary perimeter - a 30 metre circumference centred where Guzzi stood.

"Come on mate. Come back." She shrugged, looked around again. "Look at where we are! I need you! Don't go full turtle on me!"

Then for no reason Jazz could tell Guzzi looked up. "She's alive."

Jazz almost fell over. "It's catching, seemingly. That's... awesome. I'm glad for you."

"Where's Schmeep?"

Jazz shrugged. "Garship?

Guzzi nodded. As if any of this actually made sense.

"All right then. Let's get this over with," and he picked up his bag and strode across the cavernous room towards the once heavily guarded doorway.
