Win a Steem Monsters Starter Pack
It looks like I'll be using Busy until eSteem Surfer updates again. I hate to do that. I like the application, but the latest update just didn't do it justice.

As we wait for @bennettitalia to write the final chapter in the current exquisite corpse and we approach the final leg of the current running farmpunk fiction writing contest, I thought I'd give away a free Steem Monsters starter pack.

I got this starter pack when I contributed to the Steem Monsters Kickstarter campaign, but, since I'm already a player, I don't need the pack. I could use the promo code and take the cards, I guess, but this will be more fun and add a new player to the game. I'm looking for people who are not currently Steem Monsters players but would like to get in on the game. Here's what you have to do to be eligible to win this starter pack.
- First, resteem this post. No need to upvote, unless you just want to.
- Write a post about Steem Monsters. The post can be about anything related to the game. Why you'd like to play it, why you aren't playing it right now, or a fiction story about one of the cards. Anything at all.
- Come back to this post and link to your post about Steem Monsters.
- Be sure to tag your post with the #steemmonsters tag.

I really don't know enough about Steem Monsters to write a fiction story about one of the cards but I'd love to get the starter pack and start playing. I loved your post about the fight you had, @blockurator, and I'm hoping to be able to write those as well.

You mean when this version was launched? I couldn't see straight. I can't see my edits while I'm making them. That's completely useless.
I have more then 30 cards but have no starter packs 😂 so I play with delegated decks account to have fun with.. gosh it cost 13.72 steem to get the starter pack😢 many things distracted me from writing nowadays

Yes @blockurator 😊 someone create an account for me with decks to play and enjoy the game, my main account didn't have a starter pack, I got few booster packs and got 2 summoners from opened it .. but still, I'm not allowed to join the battle.
Okay, I'll let you play. Write a post following the rules and let's see what happens.

I agree with you. The recent update to Esteem hasn't been that user friendly. They said that it was still in testing phase on their Discord, so I am not quite sure why they pushed the update out. I wish I had declined. This is awesome that you are giving away a starter pack. I also got one from the kickstarter, but I used it to setup an account for my wife. She doesn't play, but I login every now and then. This gave her a Steemit account too which is cool though.
If I thought my wife was interested, I'd do the same for her. I don't know if she'd like Steemit, but she loves Facebook. Thanks for reading. :-)
Yeah, no problem. @mrsbozz isn't really interested in the whole blogging thing, but she like hanging out on musing.io and answering a question here and there. She has started to earn a little bit of income besides the SP I delegated to her. I should be getting a good number of free beta packs between my account and her account when the current season ends.

I had 2 of these I got one friend to sign up for steem and start playing but I ended up making a alt account for my wife with the other. I have been trying to get her on steem so now that it is set up I just have to get her to log in some time and write something. I hope you get a new player soon

I asked my son-in-law if he wanted it. He's into MTG and D&D, so I thought he might appreciate it. He wasn't interested. Then I thought my 16-year-old grandson would be interested, and I considered offering it to him, but I realized I'd have to teach him all about Steemit and our current situation wouldn't facilitate that so well. I decided to wait a year or two before I introduce him to it. But I didn't want this promo pack just sitting around unused. So why not give it away?
Oh for sure if you can give it away. A new person on steem and a new player would be great. I used it on the alt account cause the get the pack but need so much more to be able to play and you have to find someone really ready to buy some SP and more cards or it isn't as fun.
