💰Pennies for Thoughts! Why Auto-Voting is NECESSARY (+ STEP BY STEP HOW TO GUIDE)💰
Read this if you want to hack earning more and rewarding more at the same time.
Last time I checked the day only had 24 hours and there is are a billion posts on here. WTF?
I hope you have a sense of humor and an upvote ready 'cuz we're kicking this bad boy off!
Look at you, you good conscious-ed human you, wanting to give more to the world! High-5 for karma points!
Pssssttttt the truth is, between you and I (of course), you also want to earn more.
I know it and you know it so don't try to deny it. That's why you're here! This is good! Now that we've got that covered, let's both start earning more right now!
Oh for goodness grapes... I'm not your sleazy salesman, I'm not selling you anything, trust me. I just know something that can help so if you want in on it, keep reading.
What if you could earn more while the posts you like also earn more? That's very generous of you to think of others too!
You go on with your day, you earn more and they earn more... they get rewarded for their passion driven hard work that you like enough to give your vote to and, you don't have to do any hard work to reward them, double win.

So, HOW do we MAKE MORE TIME?

The truth is going to be pretty intense!

You've got 24 hours in a day. You have 7 days in a week. That is it. You have to be smarter than time itself to win this round my friends.
So what are we going to do? You can only read so much in a lifetime...
We apply technology. We adapt. We make the system work for us.
We start using what's available to us.
One of the things I get asked most is:
"how I have so much time to create so much high quality content."
You know me, I'm not putting no 2-minute effort, one-off drop shots up here with a hashtag, I'm pouring my heart and soul into my blog and spending tons of my time doing so while trying to maintain all of the things I do (and turn around and write about) in the real world.... yikes!
Shouldn't that kind of commitment of time, effort and dedication to the platform be rewarded?
I think so and I think that the creative and passionate authors on here that are putting their hearts into their work on here deserve our upvotes!
I'm sorry to bring out the elephant in the room people but holy jeep-us. This is crazy! The system as is right now is out of control.

So what do we do?
AUTOVOTING!
I used to frown on this and think it was some sort of robotic cheating but you know what?
I owe so much of where I am now to people who believed in me enough to mark that button that does all the work for them.
I started off being lifted into the air with glitter and balloons by people who autovoted for me early on.
See technology is pretty nifty nowadays did you know?
VOTING POWER DOESN'T COST YOU ANYTHING TO USE BUT YOU CAN GAIN REWARDS FOR USING IT SO DON'T HOARD IT, USE IT!
By the way, you have 100% voting power that costs 2% per 100% full vote and replenishes 20% every single day!

So, now that we've talked about your voting power, do you know that when you use it, you get rewarded?
That's what a curation reward is. You get back a reward for giving your FREE vote to a post!
There are two ways I see it:
MO- MONEY!
You can follow people who you know do well and get high payouts because if you autovote on them, you'll be sure to earn curation from their successful posts.
Same goes for trails and fanbases.
FANS!
You like the author for whatever reason or you like their content so you just want to support them!
Easy right?
Now just to reiterate, your voting power regenerates, replicates, reproduces every day for free without you doing anything!
That means you have votes constantly available to you! Start clicking that UPVOTE!
How to Autovote?
- Sign up on Steemauto.com using your username and either password or posting key.
- Everything goes through SteemConnect which is an authenticated protector sitting on the blockchain. If you want to be extra careful, follow these steps:
- Go to your wallet on Steemit.com
- Click on permissions.
- The first option is "Posting" click on "show private key" on the right.
- Input Steemit password to get private key.
- Copy the private key.
- Paste private key into registration for Steemauto.
- Follow the sign up by authorizing Steemauto to be able to post using your controls
- Tada! You're registered!
Once you are in:
- On the left, click on "Fanbase"
Add a username of your favorite authors such as @heart-to-heart (hey that's me!) 💖💖💖💖
Afraid of commitment?
Add anyone you want to support here, you can pause it or delete the auto upvote at any time!
Once you've added a user:
- Click on settings on the side of their name.
- Choose percentage, (higher percentage= higher curation rewards!)
- Choose frequency (how often you want to vote on them.)
- Make sure it shows "enabled" (green like the screenshot!)
- Save!
Set up your settings on main page to decide how much voting power you want to use before it pauses. (I have mine on 70% so if I use 30%, my voter will pause until it rebuilds again.
Easy right?!
BENEFITS:
Now a couple of things are happening, by more voting happening this way, the platform grows because more of the digital worth is moving around = great for Steemit and for Steemians!
The authors you have chosen are being supported and now you don't have to worry about missing their posts while having more time to focus on whatever was keeping you from being able to keep up in the first place.
You can check what you are voting on at steemd.com/@username.
(I check this frequently and go to the posts I have voted on to read them/check them out!)

This is very detailed and of course, funny. Hahaha. I think the reward work best for those with sizeable amount of voting power. Even though you get to miss reading the post you curate automatically, you still get to influence it and both party wins. Most people go for this options anyway, and I think it is smart.

You're right, the higher amount of voting power works out with higher rewards for both the author and the curator, but everyone starts somewhere :) I think that this is so much better for people like me who have tons on their plate but still want to share their votes!
