Wake up Steemit community! SteemitBoard, an excellent info tool that we all benefit from and use it for free which has been around for almost a year and a half, always only giving and never asking anything in return, now needs our helping hand!

@SteemitBoard is a project created and ran by @arcange. Although the account itself has been created at the end of January last year (2017), the project has been introduced to the community about three months later, at the beginning of May 2017.

@SteemitBoard collects all sorts of data from Steem blockchain and displays it on separately hosted SteemBoard.com website.

What @SteemitBoard does for us?

- It runs as Witness account to support the whole Steem blockchain community.

- It treats all the users equally!

- It trucks our activity from day one to the current moment no matter which app we use (as long as the app is connected to the Steem blockchain).

- It informs us (by posting comments under our published articles) about our progress whenever we level up by reaching some of the goals in many different categories (like the number of posts created, given comments or upvotes, received replies or upvotes and many others).

- It automatically creates a personal Board of Honor page for each and every user/account displaying current stats and achievements.

- It has own Chrome extension called SteemitBoard Viewer

- In cooperation with @steemcleaners creates Verified Profile Badges for users who completed “Identity and Content Verification” procedure.

Besides above regular @SteemitBoard everyday activity, in the past, it has been running fun challenges for different occasions (like Saint Nicholas’ day, Christmas, Carnival, Valentine's Day, Saint Patrick’s day, and Easter.)

@SteemitBoard has been organizing as well an amazing contest for The Football World Cup 2018 event with not so often seen very rich prize pool.

It also supported French-speaking community meetup and now supports the Travel Reimbursement Fund for Steemfest 3 meetup that will take place in Kraków, Poland, this year from November 7th to 11th.

And last but certainly not the least, @SteemitBoard just recently launched so-called SteemitBoard Ranking Page, an amazing crossreference tool where we are able to see not only our own stats and rankings (across different categories like Reputation, total number of published Posts or given Comments, Upvotes (received) and Upvoted (given upvotes), Payouts and some others) but as well (the same data) for any other user out there.

Why @SteemitBoard needs our help NOW?

By now @SteemitBoard has been serving us without asking anything in return. But, due to the recent HF20 changes and RC (Resource Credits) implementation, @SteemitBoard's existence has been put on serious risk.

Meaning, its regular performance by collecting all this data (remember there is already more than 1,100,000 users/accounts that should be scrolled, according to the latest @arcange's Steemit network statistic report) and notifying us about our level-up progress, now needs our help and support!

Even though the number of daily active users range only in between 50,000 and 60,000, so it might appear as not such a big deal or a tremendous amount of work, in fact, it is. If it's not a time and resource consuming work, and not the cheap one either, everyone would do it.

(Keep in mind that even with such low activity on the platform, @SteemitBoard in average performs 4,000 notifications and about 2,000 upvotes on a daily basis according to the provided data in the post where the actual problem has been brought to the public awareness, and that consumes a lot of Resource Credits. )

What We Can Do to HELP?

The smallest thing anyone can do and which wouldn't cost you a dime is to vote for @steemitboard as a witness.

A way more critical issue that @steemitboard is facing at the moment is the lack of Steem Power and accordingly necessary needed Resource Credits!

According to the 2nd update on the post mentioned above the amount of total minimal required Steem Power (to keep the project working on the past activity level) is 17,100 SP.

At the moment when I'm writing this, it means that around 12,000 SP is still missing.
