Mission To Minnow (MTM) Challenge #2; Opportunity To Win A Ticket To Steemit In Nigeria (SIN) Conference
We at @redfishpillar are growing in numbers (72) and now have a place where we can interact with one another in discord, https://discord.gg/KnyWFY . There are a lot of goals of the @redfishpillar project, clearly outlined in the introduce yourself post, so we are not yet able to stick to MTM contests being a weekly thing. However, I am pretty excited, that we've started celebrating the birthdays of our members, beginning with @sweetestglo-eu as seen in this post. Next on line is @turpsy. His birthday is in 10 days time on the 7th of September. We are looking forward to it.
The last mission to minnow contest (MTM) was actually a fortnight ago. The MTM contest for this new week (Monday, 28th August to Saturday, 2nd September, 2017) will be focusing on the upcoming steemit in Nigeria (SIN) conference and party organized by @ehiboss and other members of the event planning committee. Please, read latest update by @destinysaid. We are looking to support 2 Steemians ( 1 male and 1 female) in the redfish category to attend and participate in the SIN conference.

Mission To Minnow (MTM) Contest (Week 2)
The MTM contest for this week will be to create a 3-5 minute video
- Tell us who you are
- Why @redfishpillar should sponsor you to SIN
- How you want to create a better Nigeria with steemit
Rules for MTM Contest
- Same as for the first edition. Please, check here and make sure to follow all the rules.
Package For Winners
The winners who will emerge in this MTM contest for SIN conference will have as package from sponsor(s)
- Transport fare to and from city of residence
- Hotel accommodation for 2 nights (2nd and 3rd of November)
- Visit to tourist attraction sites, which the event organizing team members will chose
- Please note: In the event that transport, accommodation and visit to tourist centre exceeds the budget, then the package will exclude visit to tourist centre.

ok good. I will enter the contest soon. Thank you for briefing me about the followers upgrade and my steem blockchain records.
An update on number of followers needs to be done, since I've noticed that newbies have many followers. The limit for followers will be raised to 800. Any ''newbie'' who has more than 1000 followers, regardless of how those followers came about, will be automatically disqualified.
I am still contemplating on where to peg the number of followers. Some people are doing this follow 4 follow (f4f) thing, which in my opinion, doesn't show true organic growth.
@turpsy, I see from your steemitboard and steemd records shows that you still have less than 1 million vests. This excludes delegated steem power (DSP).
You are indeed helping us to grow in this community, I've always been hearing @redfishpillar and much was known when our #EURONATION number one female and the best tutor so far was celebrated on her birthday.
I'll like to ask if I can join the contest too, I have already joined @redfishpillar on discord through the invite link.

Also I was expecting to see some other form of innovative engagements other than just attending the programme and seeing tourist attractions. Forgive me. If I sound too serious minded :)
