💜STEEMFEST UPDATE - KEY SPEAKERS AND TICKETSTORE OPEN - MY THOUGHTS! 💜

So! @roelandp has just released one of the first SteemFest updates, including announcing the first four key speakers, and opening the ticketshop! Very exciting.
KEY SPEAKERS:
I am most excited to hear @jeffberwick (@dollarvigilante) speak. Jeff is literally the reason I joined Steemit. I have long wanted to visit his own Anarchist festival he hosts in Mexico ever year, Anarchapulco. I have been interested in the idea of anarchy and zero government for a long time, and love Jeff's resistance against the state and central banks.
I actually can't believe how excited I am to see Jeff speak.
Secondly, I am dying to hear what @ned has to say. I consider Steemit a lifesaving platform, as in, it literally saved my life. If you have been following me for a while, you will know how disillusioned and pessimistic I was feeling before I joined Steemit. I joined Steemit in June 2017, and dove head first in.
I was excited by the community, the opportunity to earn an internationally accepted currency that could save my life if things get as horrible as I think they will here in South Africa, and the freedom of speech.
I can't wait to hear what Ned has to say about SMT's and Oracles, and I think it is so awesome that he is attending.
I don't know much about the other two speakers, other than that Joe Parys is big on YouTube and DTube. I'm excited to see a female speaker, but I don't know much about Olivia.
TICKET STORE IS NOW OPEN
So, there are different prices of tickets, ranging from Plankton tickets at €277.77, which only covers half of your cost price of your ticket, to Kryptonite tickets at €1111.11, which covers 200% of your tickets.
The tickets are all equal, giving you equal access to the speakers and events at SteemFest, but you can choose on how much you pay, in order to choose how much you give back to SteemFest. Pretty neat, huh!?
Unfortunately, as much as I would like to buy the Kryptonite tickets for myself and my hubby, in our currency, even the Plankton tickets are more than we'd ever spend on ANY festival or conference, but SteemFest is so important to us that we're gonna try for one of the lower three price points.
There are also a lot of contests running at the moment where you can win a ticket to SteemFest, detailed in Roeland's post here. I will definitely be entering, a free ticket would help us so much!

That's certainly a good line up of speaker for SteemFest, and the ticket price range is a very good idea to open up access to a wider range of people.

It's funny you say steem saved your life because for me it really did save my 'digital life' I was ready to unplug as I was so disillusioned to what social media was becoming, as I was missing the old mid 2000 blog days, when people cared and wrote stuff you wanted to read instead of all emoticons and just a single picture and 'likes'. I wish I could be there, but hopefully someone will have the where with all to post videos of it all on steem for the entire community to see. We need Steem TV!
my sentiments exactly! This was one of the things that upset me most, the mindlessness of the likes and the for-show selfies. ☹️

Dear Princess wish you beautiful morning first, congratulations for your dream going to come true and it's very interesting to see the @ned and hear his views, @joeparys and @dollarvigilante are most active and super influenced name of Steemit community as they are making this community more beautiful and a better place for everyone. It's heart melting to hear how you found this platform and which is a game changer and life saver for you, for me as I am very little minnow here definitely this platform brings several beautiful things to me. I can say it's awesome. The tickets are for different prices maybe they want a better contribution for @steemfest by everyone like plankton and kryptonite as it depends on our pocket and contribution to the community. I am eagerly waiting for your experience there and any good news from the @ned I am not much aware about the female speaker madam @olivia so maybe someone from @adsactly community will give you better advice.
Sir @roelandp will definitely bring some more beautiful rewards and contests for each and everyone.
I wish I will join all of you guys one day in near future and meet all the pioneers of this industry.

I would love to join Steemfest but travelling and me dont go well together these days, but will look forward to updates and hope that you can make it there since Steemit has been such a good pplatform for you in many ways

Steemfest is starting to look great! I would like to join this event, but I have no idea yet whether we will be able to do so. However, I know that this will be a very interesting and valuable event.
