Friends Upvote Friends - Sowing Seeds of Relationship

Hello and welcome to another video! Ken here and if this is your first time visiting I would like to extend a virtual high-five to you right now :)

Currently I am out enjoying the summer sun after going to the chiropractor. I wanted to get checked out since I felt a bit off center when I would try to walk straight. It is amazing how they can adjust your neck and back in ways you never thought of before.

I feel more aligned now and am supposed to go in for evaluation every week or two. Ok, enough with the chitchat, let's dive into the topic shall we?

Friends upvote friends. Plain and simple. It is important to be relational on Steem. I have seen a couple people post about this recently like @alphasteem and @artbyclark, both incredible Steemians by the way go follow them. Lydia is a fantastic cook, and Clark is an awesome speed drawer. I know this because I have sowed seeds of relationship with them and they have reciprocated those seeds.

Seeds need water and sunlight in order to grow. It is the same with relationships which are the foundation of any social interaction with a friend or a family member. Steem is no different because it is a social network with thousands of users interacting daily. We all are in this thing together and we need each other to succeed long-term.

From a business perspective, people buy from the ones they know, like, and trust. For example, you are most likely familiar with the brand, Nike. Therefore, since you know, like, and trust that brand, you are going to purchase Nike apparel.

It is a similar concept with friends on Steem. You are going to receive upvotes, comments, and resteems from users who know, like, and trust you. Usually it takes time and repeated positive actions to gain someone else's trust.

Understand that in order to get something, we need to give it out first. We reap what we sow. That is one of the most important laws of the universe. If we want love, then we need to first give love. If we want comments on our posts, we need to first be leaving comments on other's posts. If we want upvotes, then we need to first be upvoting other's posts.

That is the gist of what I wanted to share today, friend. If you are feeling down right now about not receiving attention on your posts, then you first need to look inward at the attention that you are giving to others. Besides, feeling down and depressed is not a productive way to live life. It only keeps you stuck in that same emotional state and nothing will improve.

Bottom line, take action and make friends on Steem. The experience that you have here is dependent on you and you alone. You are in the driver's seat of your life...steer that wheel to where you want your vehicle to go. I appreciate you stopping by today. Please leave a comment and let's carry on this conversation together.

Laterz :)

Such a great video Ken! Life lessons not only for Steemit. Same principles as you mentioned apply with everyday life. :) Also, who doesn't appreciate a genuine comment on their post? It is fantastic. I love getting comments on my cooking videos where people try out the recipes and have success. Another great video man, keep them coming. :)

@mrchef111 you are one of my favorites on this platform. I can feel your energy and genuineness in each interaction. You are much appreciated here in this community. Have a blessed rest of your Sunday 😀

Since I agree with everything that you said and don't have anything to add on it, I'll just say:
I should go to chiropractor too :-)

Yes, I do too. But I also manually vote because I like having that control of voting when I want to support someone.
