Comparison between Football and Futsal Games

Keeping our body healthy is a must for everybody. Different people may be done different ways to keep their body healthy. Youngsters nowadays are keeping their fitness by playing are sports. Most common sports they played are futsal and football. Some people might say that futsal and football are similar but most probably not. There are many different and also some similarities between futsal and football.

Differences between Football and Futsal Games

The main difference between futsal and football is usually played indoors while football is an outdoor sport. For the futsal, the game will be played at the largest closed room while the football needs an open space to play. By comparison, the size of football court or space is huge according to the numbers of players as for futsal it is approximate as the size of a basketball or netball court. This shows that futsal and football are having different types of venue which are indoor and outdoor space.

The differences between football and futsal could be clearly stated by the duration of the match. In contrast, both sports are separated into two standardized halves of equal time. In football, the duration of playing is 90 minutes and the standardized time for each half is 45 minutes however for futsal the duration of playing is 15 minutes and the given standardized time for each half is 7 minutes. By using contrast, groups are allowed to top the clock once in step with 1/2 in futsal that isn't always allowed to do in association football.

Football and futsal are quite similar in so many aspects. However of differences between both sports. Another difference is that both sports required a different number of players to play in the field. In football, the number of player per team is eleven players whereas futsal only has five players for each team. Besides that, the number of substitution players also differs from each sport. In football, there are seven substitution players but can only substitute players for 3 times only. In contrast, there are three to five substitute players in futsal. Unlike football, futsal can substitute player unlimitedly.

Similarity between Football and Futsal Games

There are many similarities between futsal and football. For the first, the sport can play both of boys and girls. In the same ways, the rules of that game are same but must follow the term of the game. The player must have higher skill when they are playing. Second, they use a ball but the size is not same. Ball of futsal is heavier and low bounce compares the football. Then, the ball of futsal is smaller than the football.

In conclusion, both of these sports have differences and similarities but there is a lot more differences between football and futsal compare to similarities. Although there are some differences between this sports, basically both of this sports is good for body health.
