Education System in Bangladesh and Indonesia- Similarity

The first similarity is the age of starting education in primary school. The Bangladeshi students start going to school when they reach the age of six. Moreover, Indonesian students also start their schools at the age of six. In addition, early education is also provided, such as kindergarten. This type of school could be entered by students around the age of 5. It is the same in Indonesia. Indonesian early education also starts around the age of 5.

The second similarity is the language of instruction. In Bangladesh, most public and private schools are conducted in the Bengali language. Moreover, some private schools offer English as the language of instruction. Indonesian government conducts the class in the Indonesian language in most public and private school, as well. Moreover, some of the private schools are conducted in English.

The third similarity is the number of year before going to university. Almost world's education has twelve years before going to university. It is the same in Bangladesh and Indonesia. Both countries have twelve years of education. It is mandatory. If a student does not complete the twelve years education, then the student cannot continue to the higher education.

The fourth similarity is the religious education that is provided in both countries. In Bangladesh, there are four religions. Bangladesh government provides schools for some religions. For example, Islamic schools are provided to teach about Islam more. In Indonesia, the government also provides schools for some religions. For instance, Christian school is provided to teach about Christian religion more.
