Steemit Music League Challenge Week #7 Update

Rappers, vocalists, musicians, and producers of all kinds there is still time to get your entries in for this week of the #smlchallenge. You have until Tuesday night, November 21st to submit your entries with the winners being announced Wednesday, November 22nd.

With eight (8) incredible entries in Week Seven so far, this is shaping up to be a fantastic week in the #smlchallenge.

Here are the details of the Steemit Music League Challenge Week #7:

All you have to do is submit an original entry based off of the theme of the week using the tag #smlchallenge and/or comment the entry on any SML Challenge posts.

This week's theme is:

Video Games

The enormous video game market provides an awesome opportunity for artists and producers to get their music heard at scale. The amount of different sounds and room for music provides an opportunity for music to help set the tone and mood of the game taking place.

Steemians can take this theme a lot of different ways. They can create music that would appear ideally in a specific or generic type of video game. Or maybe use video game inspired sounds to create a track.

This theme leaves many variations open for possibility. Looking forward to see what the community has in store for this Video Game theme.

The prize pool is as follows:

FIRST PLACE WINNER: 20 SBD + 10 Whaleshares + 30 Voiceshares for 60 points

SECOND PLACE WINNER: 10 SBD + 10 Whaleshares + 25 Voiceshares for 45 points

THIRD PLACE WINNER: 6 SBD + 10 Whaleshares + 20 Voiceshares for 36 points

FOURTH PLACE WINNER: 4 SBD + 10 Whaleshares + 15 Voiceshares for 29 points

COMMUNITY FAVORITE: 6 SBD + 10 Whaleshares + 10 Voiceshares for 26 points

The Community Favorite each week will be determined by the amount of comments, upvotes, views, and community support on their entry.

Week Seven of the Steemit Music League Challenge will accept submissions until this Tuesday (November 21) at 11:59 PM CDT / 4:59AM UTC with winners being announced Wednesday evening.

Thank you for all the time, resources, and effort put into creating the pieces of art submitted so far. And we cannot wait to see what else Steemians have for the #smlchallenge.

The Steemit Music League is a community built by the community for the community with the goal of providing the most feedback, recognition, and rewards and possible all while bringing Steemians together.
