Daily run #692 [#runningproject & #runforsteem]

From time to time I am fully satisfied with how I go through my day. This was such a day. Creative, productive, flexible and proactive. And of course, it concluded with a daily run. On one of my runs, I came to an idea to write about greatest runners of all times and it crystalized in Marathon Legends Series... first part about Joan Benoit Samuelson was prepared yesterday. I really love the result and the motivation I got from writing about Joan and through preparing for the blog I learned so many amazing things about this lady!
Question for you: "What motivates you for running?"
If you change nothing, nothing will change!
My daily run was a nice conclusion to this day. I went the usual path if I want to do 6 km (crossing the Sava River bridge and back home). I was wondering why I always ran relatively slower than now and why I was so reluctant to improve my pace. It is probably my general aversion to competition. But now I find new sort of joy in my runs and I try to do them as good as I can on a certain day... not just nailing the distance, but also being fast and keeping the pace through the whole run. So I do not stop for photo anymore (I make photo prior or after my run). I can mention also that my "new" running shoes are more than excellent for my feet and I really love running in them!

Oh... and new - old music yesterday. I put some mp3s on my phone that I did not listen since September last year. Michelle Gurevich a.k.a. Chinawoman was my music company. Here is one of her songs... love her music and lyrics!
I've been running each and every day since the end of May 2016. The Running Streak continues and you can see and follow my daily pics also here: daily runs since 30th of May 2016.
Three Hearts half-marathon on 19th of May and
Bovec half-marathon on 15th of September.

I do appreciate your comments with added value, upvotes, and resteems!

I enjoyed your new runner-series and look forward for the next post!
My running motivation is purely my state of mind afterwards and for the next couple of days.
Thank you! New blog in Marathon Legend Series is "under construction" :)
I love the simplicity and freedom of running. A pair of shoes and you are all set to explore new trails.

Shoes can make a huge difference.
So it seems or it is just coincidence? :)
