The road to Steemfest | Get to know other Steemians! - Week 1
The response was awesome and we can already read about the road to Steem Fest of 14 people. How cool is that?
The main idea of this dynamic is to get to know each other a bit more before meeting in person and then, when we actually meet it won't be awkward and we won't have weird silences but instead, it will be like two friends meeting after a long time of not seeing each other.
I know I felt that way with some people in Lisbon during Steem Fest 2. To be able to read some people's posts for months and then actually be able to meet them in person and give them a hug was a truly wonderful experience.
So... What are you waiting for? Go read the posts from the very first group of people who are going to Steem Fest 3!

I will be making these comps every week so we keep track of the freewrites people do about this topic and also, because every liquid reward from these posts will be used for a small surprise for all those who join the #roadtosteemfest dynamic.

Yes, this was indeed a great exercise to write a unbroken story in a continuous and delirious way without stopping to question or correct anything while we were narrating and shaping our crazy ideas on the screen.
You invited us to create a freewrite essay where writing in our most honest, self uncensored and sincere approach would tell ten fold more about who we are in the walking life. I'm afraid that this used to be the way in which I've written most of my posts in steemit since two years ago. Sooner than later I stopped doing it that way. };)
But since your initiative with the free writings exercises is to try to get us to know each other better in our steemit's community. I invite to whoever want to know me better, to read these pair of very old posts written in a freewrite style two years ago. This first article written in english and the second and the original one in spanish. Well, read those if you really are curious to know something more about me. Hahahaha };)
In the meantime, I will try to create and write another contribution for the 2nd week of this current The road to Steemfest initiative. And this time, I will try to do it with a bit of more control by putting reins on my run wild crazy muses. Writing everything without stopping and in a single pull but without forgetting anything that I had planned to include in the article. Because on my first post. Which you have reviewed here. I forgot to include this video below with which I wanted to give more impact & recall to the message of your initiative. But since one of the rules was that we could not edit it after publishing it. I had no choice but to leave it faulty in the way it is now.

Yes! I am super duper excited, and WOW - thank you @anomadsoul for doing this, I am already getting to know a few peeps and it is just so awesome.
It´s really amazing to see how many people has already joined, thank you for making a post about it and perhaps it would be great to see a follow up post from you some time in the future :D
I have been reading some of them but still didn't have time to finish them all. This actually helps getting to know other Steemians a bit more like, now I know more a bit of Adsactly peeps a few others. Funny to read people's freewriting also. Most of them I could feel the anxiety just through the words as I'm sure, not a lot of people free-write every so often. Same hereeeee, that was my first time and I didn't even know what I was doing! hahah LOL
Basically these posts constitutes so much passion so much vigour and I think a few of them were in Portugal, at this juncture, it's good you started off these Freewrite to indulge those that will be going Poland, I saw the free write post you originaly made and it hurt to know I won't be going.
Well I guess I'd start off my free write too of those that won't go but are passionate about going and it would be like a Freewrite of what they would do should the tables the turned and they had a chance of going. The initiative is splendid @anomadsoul

@anomadsoul, In my opinion, following your Freewriting ideas and writing 14 effective posts are great to watch and great to read, and now for sure these 14 people will not be like unknown for you.
What i really liked about this stuff is, as you shared previous experience where you wrote that, after reading their posts and then meeting them live at SteemFest and when you hugged them that gave an known feeling, that's really awesome aspect for sure.
And we all are developing as an community and all communities are fall under one shelter and that is Steem Economy and most of us spend our maximum time in Steem Economy, so for sure Steemians will going to hold the enthusiasm to attend the SteemFest.
And i hope and wish that, whoever is going to attend this Fest will going to have fun, happy and productive time, and we are waiting to see the all pictures and videos of SteemFest so that we can also live that environment.

I'd join in on this, but there's no chance in hell I'd be able to even consider going so I guess I'll just have to
curse the rest of you to a diabolical hell of having your nuts and clams twisted off and fed to a three headed goatbe jealous of all you guys and gals joining in and thinking about going!I guess I'll stick with writing my little thrift shop series and game reviews and hope one day I can eventually not be so broke where I can leave the mother fucking US for a few damn days.

Someday I'd love to go, man. Even if it was just to hang out with one or two people I know and have some drinks. Right now, it's just not possible with my financial situation. I don't even know if I've got the money to have my bills covered for the next 2 or 3 months. And, I am trying to figure out someway to get $6-700 together by the end of October so I can get some wedding rings and go with my Fiancee down to the courthouse downtown and get a marriage certificate made up so we're finally married.
So, maybe in a few years I can roll up and spread cheeks and flex my dick with you guys and have a good time. But, yeah. Just not this time around unfortunately :)
