irreparable

sandstone grey in formica
arranged like four gaping hands
that had lost their grip
how they went sailing
through the air that day
the day i cracked down the side
when i no longer held
all the rage
inside that broken fishtank
bright gold and turquoise tails
of little girl confusion
swimming out across prim white tiled seas
loose change roiling over the rim
of some lucky winner's slot machine surf
a litany of jagged seashells
fell out of a mouth of a stranded fish
memories of years spent
gulping air as if it were water
trying not to swim
flapping irreverently on the floor
bruises from
the reason i wore pants for years
johnny across the way
his blond brow pompadour
swirled across his aquiline nose
cute does not make them pretty inside
and big brothers
are supposed to protect you aren't they
"..but look what you've done to that chair!"

yeah I figured that was a dreamed chair - it really is an awesome way to make graphics for posts, easy to find relevant images and make them your own :) I have some plans for @beelzebub - or should I say - he has plans for me...
