As one of the 6 judges, and as an original artist also, I aim to represent the best original artists in this contest from our wonderful Steemit community. I am keeping my ears open for cover artists as well, don't worry but creating an original song is indeed impressive, especially if executed and performed well. Best of skill and performance to you all next week. This week was filled with so many wonderful artists, even amongst the high amount of entries, and there were still many talented performers who entered, so forgive me if I didn't list you, I definitely heard everyone's entries. 1. @ilazramusic's "A Mi Me Encanta" Original Song
Really impressed with how many ingenious layers of musical talent you have woven together to produce such a refined sound. You are a perfectionist to the core because I hardly hear any flawed inflections and only you know how long this took to map out. The massive effort was not for naught (nothing) :) You did a fantastic and superb job recording the best takes and it sounds like a whole choir and small band are accompanying you. The Reggae sounds are very cool and catchy and it's hard not to bob freely to the sounds you're Jamaican. Get it? Bob hence Bob Marley- songs of Freedom (freely) Jamaican -you're making. Wordplay is always fun. Anyway thanks for this flawless gem, for elevating the open mic standards and looking forward to your next entry.

Welcome to the Steemit Open Mic Community, and what an entry you have submitted. Your vocals are so distinct and antiquely vintage, bringing back that old vibe of passionate heart ache and real soulful pain. The technical aspect is without question to your advantage but because you hold his song more dearly to your heart and it is more profoundly meaningful, it clearly shows in your pristine performance. You are pouring out your soul and heart into this entry and yes I must admit I noticed you becoming affected by your own singing towards the end, but it added that special characteristic of how music can pull on the human emotions in the moments being created and you still finished the song strongly. It is really a beautiful song with a lot of power needed to bring it to life and you gave it the vitality that was required with your more than capable singing voice. Deeply reflective lyrics, inspiring original. I really enjoyed how you structured the song and spaced out the rhythmic flow as you transitioned from verse to chorus with your choice guitar chords and momentum fueled message.
