I kept a rather low profile betting wise
yesterday in the match between Club Brugge and Galatasaray and managed to make a bit of profit after lowering the risk on my pre-game position early on in the match. It ended in a fair 0-0 Draw. Two matches today from Belgian Teams in the Europa League and I already took a couple of bets early on.
Standard vs Guimaraes
Standard is a team with a lot of potential this season but they still don't seem to be at full force just yet. Record Transfer Vanheusden is back from injury but is still on the bench along with some others. Key Player Lestienne is in great form and they managed to somewhat break their bad away reputation last week with a 1-4 victory which puts them on top of the table in the Belgian League. Somehow I don't fully trust them just yet. The situation is somewhat similar to Club Brugge yesterday who played against their (on paper) direct opponent at home in the first match. Guimaraes is currently 10th in the standings in Portugal having taken 6 points in 5 matches (1W-1L-3D) and they come off a 4-1 home victory. They finished 5th last season and went trough 3 qualifying rounds to reach the Europa League. According to Transfermarkt their player base is worth 53 Million which is close to the 78 Million Standard is supposed to be worth. They are said to be a well-organized team that doesn't easily concede goals. It is really hard to put a number on this match and the first goal will probably be key along with the form of the day from Standard. If they are up for it I might be willing to back them live.

AA Gent vs Saint Etienne
AA Gent has a great squad this season along with an excellent bench and have been the best playing team in the league even though not always as reliable. St-Etienne took a poor start in the French league and are only 15th with 5 points. Their players are worth 119 Million on Transfermarkt compared to the 90 Million for AA Gent so it should be a first real test for the home team. I do highly value form and confidence when it comes down to the bets that I end of taking. in this regard, AA Gent is in a good spot and also free-scoring while there are also signs that they might have some difficulties defensively against good sides. Over 3.5 @ 3.2+. Overall i'm 1.5 units invested in this match and have a little bit of room to take extra live and might take a lot more in case one of the positions is in the green in-play. Should be an interesting match.

Charleroi vs Stvv
Great matchup for an under bet as both teams tend to avoid taking risk making sure everything is closed down in defense first. Charleroi has been playing decent but also got lucky getting a penalty they should never have gotten while having a chance scoring % that is not sustainable. I took both Under 3 @ 1.826 and 1st Half Under 1 .25 @ 1.80 also betting a little bit extra in BTC at Nitrogensports on the first.

I have never used any of the Crypto bookies yet. How much do you keep on account there? Are they reliable ? We saw one of the dice games on Steem do an exit scam recently so I would wonder about how safe the are.
The BTC bookies can't really be compared to the steem dice games. Sportsbet.io is quite big and sponsor of Watford, while Nitrogensports has been going strong and gets a B+ rating on Sportbookreview. I would rate they equally reliable as any of the traditional bookies. I honestly never had problems in the last 10+ years of bookies wanting to scam me. I don't keep that much compared to my total BTC bankroll but it's well above to survive any big downswing on 0.01 BTC flat stakes. In a way, I actually like to have BTC at different places just to spread the risk. even though I have a ledger nano s, I'm not that comfortable keeping everything just there even though it's the safest.
Happy with the result of Club Brugge. I've seen the tremendous growth of Belgian teams through the years and in a few years, they might become a real competitor of UEFA Champions League.
More over, I want to learn more with your analysis and techniques in Sportsbetting too.
I doubt that will happen, they might survive the group stage at times but the gap between the real top teams is quite big still.
Good luck learning about betting. It's a brutally difficult game if you want to win long term growing to bigger stakes though, but it can be done if you have the dedication for it. Blogging about the journey is something that can really help.
