    There's no denying that the greatest hits in the 60's and 70's were a direct result of the prolific use of psychedelic substances among musicians. I mean - just listen Hendrix and Pink Floyd. They just don't make hits like that anymore.

    That's true. Sometimes I even feel music had a peak in that time is is going downwards since then. Not every music is shit of course, but as a general trend. Check out this amazing video if you don't know it yet
