Have you dropped by The Old Dog's - @kus-knee's page? He's been running the mundane art contest. It's been going on for a long time and every now and I have missed the first four so this time I decided to join.

My first pic was just that pic below but I re-read his post and it says stoneS. Am not sure whether it's supposed to be plural but it must be since he posted some pic samples on his announcement post.

I just used flash for that single subject above last night, pretty late and turned off all of the lights in the kitchen.

Yes, I took these pictures on top of my stove and I took a few, in fact, I thought of posting this white stone with two white corals but then again .. STONES!!! not corals, not rocks! Stones! Shout out the difference between the two in the comment below.

I took a few pics earlier today but the light brought much shadow so I waited till its pitchblack outside and turned off every source of light around me. It's like shooting in the dark. The reflection is clearer with the lights on though.

Everyone's invited to join so what are you waiting for! Check out The Old Dog's post about it. It's fun to do this , you'll see ;)!

This content's 100% mine. I took the pics with my Samsung Galaxy A3 .

In that last one they look like they are floating!

I like the last one the most
I tried cleaning the tiles off the pic

I gave up
but the reflection there's a lot clearer isn't it

It is, it works really well!

suddenly I regret not cleaning it :D

Lolz, hindsight is a wonderful thing!

I missed this call, luckily I found it on your blog I will see that I have some of them there. thank you very much for making me see this challenge
I wish you a great day

What interesting stones, especially white, are clearly visible in some kind of drawing. I read posts @ kus-knee, he has many contests, but I have not participated yet, I think you'll be lucky.

thanks you should join for the fun of it ;)

What beautiful stones! I love how smooth they are! Rocks are not smooth😊

thanks .. these stones aren't smooth at all :D

Yes I see that lol I didn't have my teaching glares on they still looked beautiful though I've got them on more they are gorgeous! I have term paired of glasses but can never find them!

The first stone - ametyst is my favorite 😍😍😍
Good luck in the contest:)))

They are some beautiful precious stones.

I used to be a stone and sea shells collector once but I don't have them anymore.

The black looks really great as a nice composition with the white stones, the last photo was a bit washed out as you waited for the lights.

The first Crystal like stone is definitely quartz I can say, after that the stone with grey patches on it is a precious stones I guess is used for creating monuments etc, the last one looks the most Unique and I'm not entirely sure what it might be!

As for the contest, thanks for informing us and showing your stones, well I don't think I have any good collection like that but I'll look for things with me. 😊

Cheers 🍻

these are looking like a very worthy stone love to see the different kind of stones
