10 Brilliant Facts About Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011)

Hello movie marauders! The Harry Potter franchise ended with this movie on July 11, 2011. This movie got a 96% on Rotten Tomatoes--the highest score of any of the Harry Potter films. Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 is the world's 8th highest grossing movie of all time ($1.342 billion). This movie ended the Harry Potter series in a satisfying way. Let's take a look at some fun facts about Harry Potter 7 part 2!!

1. Tom Felton (who plays Draco Malfoy) said that the hug Ralph Fiennes (who plays Voldemort) gave him was improvised. Felton's reaction of just standing there was genuine.

2. For the Gringotts scene, Helena Bonham Carter (who plays Bellatrix) asked Emma Watson (who plays Hermione) to act out the scene so Helena Bonham Carter would know how to act as Hermione (the scene is Helena Bonham Carter acting like Emma Watson who is acting like Hermione who is acting like Bellatrix).

3. For the inside of the vault at Gringotts, 210,000 coins were created.

4. Bellatrix always makes sure to stand on Voldemort's right side because the person on the right side is the most trusted and loyal follower.

5. This is the shortest out of all the Harry Potter movies, at 2 hours and 10 minutes.

6. When Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 was released, it set the record for the highest grossing opening weekend ever at $169.2 million (it beat The Dark Knight). The Avengers (2012) beat that record at $207.4 million.

7. A mini scale model of Hogwarts was used in the previous movies, but in this one Hogwarts was created digitally.

8. To make the look of destruction, five 29 tons trucks worth of rubble was used.

9. The kiss between Ron and Hermione took 6 takes (Harry's/Ginny's at 10 takes, Ron's/Lavendar's at 15 takes, Harry's/Cho's at over 30 takes).

10. By the end of the series, Daniel Radcliffe broke 80 wands because he liked to use them as drumsticks.
