Market Friday in Vegas

Are we in Paris and visiting the popcorn stand by the Eiffel tower? Nope. we are in Vegas, baby!!

Let me take you on a little walk through the town. Believe me, the whole center of town is one big shopping opportunity. You can leave your money in Vegas wherever you go.

This is last Thursday and we had arrived for the Steem Creators Conference just in time to walk with a bunch of the other attendees to the restaurant for the meet and greet event.

I was busy just following the group that I don't even know the name of this - shopping area/ hotel/casino? Don't know. but I do know that there was nothing in that building which would agree with my wallet.

I liked this fun statue a lot.

After we passed the statue, four of us realized that we had lost the rest of the group - we were so busy taking pictures of everything that we didn't pay attention. Oh well. Time to explore more.

At the bottom of the stairs was a fancy restaurant, but the pictures I took didn't turn out.

So, we went back up.

The beautiful @saramiller is leading the way toward the beautiful ceiling covered in upside down umbrellas.

Finally, we found our way out of the building with directions (kind of) to the restaurant where the others were already waiting for us.

As you can see, the streets are wide and filled with lots of cars. Pedestrians cross on bridges high above the traffic. Cleverly, the city installed escalators for easy access. If it were stairs, many would rather cross the busy street instead of climbing a flight of stairs.

As we are walking along, the sun gave us lots of entertainment. Look at this building.

Every one is filled with shops and restaurants. But I love the reflection coming off the windows.

Pretty cool, right?

A little later, this was the view to the other side.

Finally, we arrived at the restaurant and look how they store their wine - or maybe it is just decoration.
