Aging has never felt so good when you are surrounded with crazy people who never really worry of getting old.

I have just chatted some of my friends early this morning and somehow our conversation ended up talking about our age. We made fun to the fact that we would be turning a year older this year and asked if we were looking forward to it and pondered how would it feel.

One jokingly said, 'I felt like a child sucking a worn-out pacifier and crying because of a wet cheap nappy on which mommy never bothers to change'. Another jovially burst out, 'My way of thinking is still 2%!' In layman's term, never been mature enough. Well, rest assured that we are not turning a century so his way of behaving is by far still acceptable. Hilarious!

Well in our individual's reality, all of us have been having various personal issues that make us so exhausted sometimes. Being an adult is never a joke for we have been dealing with different kinds of decisions in life, may they be trivial or life-changing. Nevertheless, the ability to make fun with ourselves put us in a situation where we can forget the daily burdens that life has thrown us. I must say we all have something in common and that is being responsible enough with our respective lives. That is one thing that I am grateful for.

Life has never stopped in giving us things to handle, sometimes they are really overwhelming, that more often than not we forget to laugh. As we continue to live we are surely expected to be responsible enough from running errands to dealing serious or important matters like taking care of children, getting a mortgage, and the like. But yes, these kinds of things are part of being an adult, they're not something new and they're somehow constant.

However, dealing with all the things in life will be much more complicated when we set aside having fun. As we age year by year, it is inevitable that more responsibilities are given to us. I could never imagine how to live a life full of obligations and not sparing time to have fun and laugh. If that is the case, we will definitely grow old more than what is expected. As they say, "that guy looks older than his age". Isn't it disheartening to hear? We never want that.

All of us will be heading to the path of getting old but we do believe we can do it in graceful way. It is just a matter of laughing out loud and thinking of that mantra 'hakuna matata' every now and then.

Well, we take pride of being responsible in our lives and we want to experience growing old gracefully - forgetting the worries of getting wrinkles and saggy skin one day.
