OF ADVERSITIES AND FAITH | Self-Improvement Challenge - Every Friday's Pause For Thought #Week 1
We all have struggles in life - they may be in terms of money, relationship, career, family, self-esteem, health, and many others. To bear any of those is sometimes overwhelming that, more often than not, puts us in a situation where we breakdown. And yes we feel hopeless sometimes but that should never be our option. To cling to our faith to our God instead is the best thing we can do.

Life is a constant battle of tasting a myriad of trials or misfortunes that happen inevitably and or simultaneously. Surely, we are not being punished nor loathed by Him but we are chosen for Him to measure our faith. Lucky we are for that teaches us valuable lessons in life. We are given a test for sometimes we take Him for granted due to the material things that the world entices us. We become so absorbed with the worldly pleasures that makes us miss our purpose in life. We sometimes forget to show our gratitude for the innumerable blessings showered upon us. We also become blinded with all the glitters in this physical world.
We are so busy making money that all we think is getting enough. But enough is never enough.
Then we start to question, why of all the people in the world have I stricken this tribulation? Why does it have to be me? We get confused, depressed, lonely, and weak. We feel astray. Yes we are. In those times, we have left with no one, no one else but Him. Sometimes we need to experience some adversities to become closer to Him once again. There are things in life that only Him can iron out. Prayers are powerful, indeed. With sincerity of our uttered prayers, they move mountains.
In times that we are in state of confusion because of the struggles that strike us, may we pray beseechingly that this too shall pass. Yes we can surpass. Faith is an armor. He does listen to our pleas. No doubt about it. Keep the faith.
