As we have just celebrated the International Women's Day, I dedicate this post to all the women in the world who deserve nothing but respect, care, and love.

Not because you are madly in love with your partner, you just allow him do whatever he wants to do on you even if it's already against your will or your moral standards.

To love someone is one of the factors that makes a person happy . It is one of the most wonderful things and the ultimate happiness in the world that people can experience. The feeling that someone is needing you, taking care of you, and missing you is priceless, indeed. Having someone to talk with after working like a dog and having someone to understand you when days get rough is one kind of inexplicable happiness and pleasure that lovers do feel.

However, not all couples in the world have the same sweet story. Not all have beds of roses with their partners or their lovers.

As I have plenty of female friends, some who became my really trusted friends I would like to share my thoughts as to when a man is not worthy for the love of a woman. I'm not a religious supporter of feminism but somehow I do support the advocacies of feminists.

I always believe that women have the right to be respected, loved, and cared. Sometimes when a woman is madly in love with their partner, they just tolerate some abusive treatment their partner gives - letting it pass just to avoid conflict or worse making it 'normal' in their relationship.

Ladies, you should know the 'red flags' before it's too late.

If your man does have any of the characteristics or actions mentioned below then it's high time to think of your worth.

1. False Promises

If one promise has not come into a reality then somehow it is forgivable or excusable, if the second one is again not realized then that is a warning. Why promise when he is not sure if he could keep it? A man with dignity, with word of honor and values you does anything to make his promises a reality.

2. Blame- game; making you accountable of their failures

A fully-grown man is responsible of his actions. If something bad happens like he fails to attend his important appointment because you did not wake him up or you did not wake up early to prepare his breakfast, a mature man never blames his failure on you.

"It's because of you that I couldn't do this and that..." is a common reason you hear from a man who never owns up his mistakes.

3. No Apologies Coming From Him, Instead You Do It

It's all natural to say sorry and ask for forgiveness after the disagreement or conflict subsides. However, when you are the one who keeps saying sorry even if it is not your fault, you say sorry because you want to keep the relationship, then that's a big sign that your man is nothing but unloving. A loving and caring man takes the full responsibility of apologizing for the trouble he caused.

4. Silent Treatment

Arguments are a spice in a relationship as they say which I also believe. It is when you know each other's differences and later understand things between the two of you in order to avoid future disagreements.

But not all end up nicely after the argument happens, when your man is giving you silent treatment for days, it is a sign that he is controlling you. He gives you a signal that you are just inferior and that you should reach out first. It is also a sign of immaturity and it's an indicator that he has an inflated ego.

6. Threatening you

As we live on this era where privacy is almost impossible because of social media, it has been a tool for some to threaten their partners to expose their private photos online.

When your man is planting fear on you that if you leave him or if you don't do what he wants you to do, he will post your intimate photos or videos on the web without second thoughts, then get away from him soon. You will never have a good life. And that's for sure.

A loving man who really loves you will never degrade you ever.

7. Emotional Abuse

It may not be too obvious but he tells a joke at your expense or he uses sarcasm to make you feel upset or bad about yourself.

"The food that you cook is awesome that I can't even give a little munch."
"You should go on a diet, you look so different now compared to the times when I courted you."

If your man swears at you or calls you name when things are not running smoothly, like when you commit some mistake or when you are learning something new and you can't get it the right way, then you're emotionally abused.

When he is so demanding on you asking you to make him a sandwich for he is hungry, wash the dishes for the sink is untidy, stop the whining of the children, and so on...You are treated like a servant to do all the things that he wants whenever he likes.

When he lacks empathy and compassion on you. He becomes indifferent of what you're going through and can't even ask if you're alright. For him, you are irrelevant.

When he insults you most of the time at home or even in front of other people.

And when he invalidates your feelings, needs and wants.

All of these characteristics have a common denominator and that is "manipulation". You have been manipulated, disrespected, and devalued. Know your self-worth. You deserve someone better. Never settle for that kind of man just because you're scared of not finding one again or because you fear of being single for the rest of your life .

You're a woman of beauty, you're a gem that needs to be treasured, you're human who should be treated as one, you deserve respect, love, and care.
