Facebook’s Libra + Bitcoin + Trump + Israel = 666 Orwellian Dystopia
I expounded after this blog at BCTalk.
Only the uber wealthy may invest in the Investment Tokens of Facebook’s Libra project. The rest of us will be stuck with the Libra token that only appreciates if our local currency depreciates relative to Libra’s four reserve currencies basket ($ dollars, € euros, £ pounds, ¥ yen). Which will be both highly stagflationary and have the side-effect of eliminating the sovereignty of a nation-states’ local currency as the Euro did to the PIIGS nations.
All of us are going to be wrecked, tracked, enslaved, and fleeced. Only the uber wealthy powers-that-be will survive with any wealth intact over the coming decade or two. These are shocking statements so read this entire blog carefully and click all my links, wherein the details are defended, explained and elaborated.
Near the end of this blog I’m going to make some suggestions that you’ve probably never before heard or read explained the way I do, to help lead you the readers to ultimate salvation.
Copies of some of my blogs are also on my Medium account. You may find the format of my blogs easier to read on my Busy account. Every link is archived to
archive.org in case a link goes dead you can search for it on those archives.
Libra’s Biblical Serpent Currency Symbol
This blog is a final warning to everyone about what is about to happen to us all. I will explain this more comprehensively towards the end of this blog. And suggest a solution, although none of you will adopt the solution. I anticipate the depraved minds in proud defiance, doubt, procrastination, wait-and-see, etc.. None of that will save them when the time comes.
Facebook’s choice for Libra’s currency symbol (≋) represents a Biblical serpent instead of the scales (⚖) or balance (♎) symbols normally associated with Libra. Ostensibly they want us to conjure of ‘libre’ or ‘liberty’ whereas my analysis of Libra leads me to conclude it’s the antithesis of balance, freedom and liberty. In this blog (and the links from it), I explain that Libra is a diabolical 666 plan.
‘NIMROD’ – The Sin of fake “Christians” & fake Christmas
That’s Satan’s sacrilegious, in-your-face-dare-you-to-change example of what his wicked evil doers are about to do to all of us. My expectation is that none of you will adopt the solution and change your philosophy of life, because the Bible tells me that only (a metaphorical?) 144,000 will be saved.
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. — Matthew 7:13-14 NIV
I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. — Revelation 3:15–17 NIV
No Competitors, No Sustainable Resistance
Libra doesn’t compete with Bitcoin. Bitcoin can never be a medium-of-exchange because of the invariants pointed out in the subsequent You Can’t Keep Your Bitcoin Nor Gold section of this blog. And because currently no major cryptocurrency has a stable (or worse) value so as to eliminate the speculation and/or investment-store-of-value attribute so per Gresham’s law people will spend it instead of hodling it.
Smug, proud but spiritually empty (a power-vacuum in the heart and soul filled by Satan), intoxicated, Choo Choo train greater fools preoccupied with dreaming of lambos and harlots, been FOMOing-at-the-mouth over 100s of shitcoins (including that BitcOn-job Core shitcoin) without creating anything that could compete with Libra.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. — 1 Timothy 6:10 KJV
Money is not ours. We are only stewards of money to carry out the superrational (not “rational”!) plan of the Lord:
‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty. — Haggai 2:8 NIV
We servants of God who disobey will have our talents taken from us and given to those who will use the talents productivity and superrationally (not rationally!) for God’s plan:
Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle. — Proverbs 23:5 NIV
Parable of the Talents
To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away. He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more. So also he who had the two talents made two talents more. But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master's money. Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me five talents; here, I have made five talents more.’ His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.[c] You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me two talents; here, I have made two talents more.’ His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed, so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here, you have what is yours.’ But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I scattered no seed? Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest. So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ — Matthew 25:15-30 NIV
Google doesn’t have the integrated social connections to their billions of users of search+ads, which would be required to launch a realistic Libra competitor. No other technology company comes even close to Facebook’s reach and privacy-invading kompromat to bulldoze governments and regulators that resist.
China’s WeChat is closest but would refuse to launch a token backed by a reserve of major fiats, because it would limit the Chinese central bank’s monetary policy control—China is an authoritarian economy which Trump is trying to force open with tariffs and a trade war…
Recent news regarding the China-US trade deal is that China is apparently lowering tariffs for all countries besides the US.
Libra is backed by a reserve of three Anglo-saxon fiat currencies ($, €, £) and one subservient Asian lackey (¥) conquered during WW2.
Can and will nation-states thwart Libra because it competes with their independent central banks?
Trump wants a weak dollar to stimulate exports, so he would welcome a stronger pound, yen, and euro. Martin Armstrong has long maintained that a strong dollar vortex was necessary to bring about a global monetary system reset. Libra might be that reset. Libra eventually diminishes the Fed’s control over global monetary policy—a welcome relief from being the world’s central bank making it difficult to balance domestic and international monetary policy.
The U.S.A. is also requiring social media identification for visa applicants. Trump is increasing draconian capital, trade and migration controls, which he and his political base may think is good but they're being manipulated as I explain in this blog. Armstrong blogged:
Due to Iranian sanctions, India is forced to look elsewhere for their supply of Crude.
All governments benefit immediately from digital tracking of all payments for better enforcement of taxation. This will coincide with their G20 initiative to have a global minimum tax.
EU and Japan both want to devalue their currencies, while the EU also demands austerity requirements for member nations, thus resulting in stagflation. So they’ll just need to debase their currencies faster than Libra can onboard new reserves. Whoopee! Hyperstagflation coming to the EU and Japan!
Although Libra won’t be initially forced into countries that resist such as India and China, these countries will be eventually forced to open to Libra because otherwise their high-tech sectors will fall out-of-sync and they’ll be cut off from the global integration and massive global economies-of-scale. Libra is another weapon to force these resistant countries into full spectrum globalization.
You Can’t Keep Your Bitcoin Nor Gold
The rest of us will be fleeced, including those hodling Bitcoin or precious metals, both of which will be targeted by capital controls and radicalized taxation (such as the G20’s global minimum tax) aimed at impoverishing everyone but the powers-that-be so they can move all of us onto 666 Universal Basic Income slavery.
The powers-that-be will as one former U.S. Treasury official was rumored to have stated, “burn the fingers of goldbugs up to their armpits.”
We’ll be kicked off of Bitcoin by:
The coming Core donations “attack” which will donate all your Core
BTCto the miners (actually Satoshi’s clever game theory defense mechanism against the Core con-job scammers). Read the entire linked thread, to learn how to protect your Bitcoin from this “attack”.
The skyrocketing transaction fees of the “legacy”, one-and-only, immutable Satoshi “v0.1” Bitcoin with immutable 1 MB blocks (i.e. not Core,
BSV) that will be the only “Bitcoin” that survives and appreciates to greater than $1 million within this decade.
As I first warned in 2010, even gold fungibility will be tainted by the impossibility of proving fungible metal doesn’t have some lineage of illicit activity in some cryptocurrency. Guilty until proven innocent aka reverse onus. There will be no black markets because Libra will enslave all the nations. No place to sell, buy, or spend your Bitcoin or gold without being fleeced of your wealth by the insane, Orwellian, dystopian world coming because nearly everyone has forsaken the commandments of the Lord allowing Satan to completely enslave them (even they don’t know it yet, as the obvious outcome to which they remain oblivious will soon come like a thief in the night). An Orwellian world enshrined and depicted in monuments recently built to tease the fate of sheepeople:
They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will be treated as a thing unclean. Their silver and gold will not be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord’s wrath. It will not satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs, for it has caused them to stumble into sin. — Ezekiel 7:19 NIV
The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their cargoes anymore— cargoes of gold, silver, precious stones and pearls; fine linen, purple, silk and scarlet cloth; every sort of citron wood, and articles of every kind made of ivory, costly wood, bronze, iron and marble; cargoes of cinnamon and spice, of incense, myrrh and frankincense, of wine and olive oil, of fine flour and wheat; cattle and sheep; horses and carriages; and human beings sold as slaves […] — Revelation 18:11-20 NIV
Fleeced By Libra
As the world buys newly minted Libra with their local fiat, that is converted to the four reserve currencies, which are then kept on reserve by the Libra Foundation for anyone who wants to later withdraw fiat by retiring their Libra tokens. Presumably market markers who buy/sell Libra on exchanges will request to mint/retire Libra as needed to balance their liquidity.
The Investment Token hodlers get (most or all?) of the interest earned on the said reserves. They’re not only receiving the interest on the reserves they deposited when they first purchased the Investment Tokens at the very exclusive ICO. Their initial investment is multiplied because they also receive the interest on all reserves added as Libra’s adoption is onboarded. Investment Tokens will “to da moon” appreciate if Libra is widely adopted. Whereas, Libra token users receive no gains other than deleterious, highly inflationary devaluations of their own local currencies.
Trump Serving Israel’s Mafia
Jesus preached in the Jewish homeland against the corruption by the Pharisees of Moses’ religion. Still there’s the corrupt masked by the State of Israel doing evil unto the world, fooling the world into rejecting Jesus and adopting all the trappings and corrupt dilemmas of metaphorical Babylon aka statism:
It’s not the selfless, superrational, anti-harlotry Jews who will be spit out of the Lord’s mouth, but instead those unrepentant who are the aforementioned 9/11 and JFK-assassination mafia that is leading the world into the Great Harlot. Plus all those who reject Jesus to (even unconsciously or unwittingly) follow the Satanists.
Who are the powerful evil doers behind the curtain?
Not run-of-the-mill, banana-republic kingpins such as Calder-Le Roux. There are the significant, more visible, anti-Christian underlings such as Summers, Soros, Zelikow, Mueller, Clintons, LBJ, James A. Donald, Bush, Cheney, more PNAC’s such as Bolton, etc.. But more importantly there’s also those unnamed in the inner circle who are pulling the strings behind the CIA, Mossad, and MI6. See for example Confessions of an Economic Hitman and Perkins’ follow-up in the series.
W.r.t. the deep squalid history of the Russian hacking affair and implications for world war, the rabbit hole about George Papadopoulos goes deeper directly to the aforementioned secret agencies as I suspected:
Presumably Mossad in cahoots with the CIA and MI6 (who cooperated on perpetrating 9/11 with Mueller’s cover-up as head of FBI) set this up so Democrats appear to be against Israel, to create sympathy for Israel among the delusional, fake “Christian” that vote for Trump.
The mafia’s powers-that-be installed Trump as POTUS so he could officially recognize the Holy City and Golan Heights as he has done. Later they via their control of mass media propaganda will have the population blame Trump for wrecking the world economy that results in wars. They’re dividing-and-conquering us. They also presumably created and launched Bitcoin (and now Libra)—weapons of their multi-pronged strategy for full spectrum globalization enslavement.
Skip to the 1:09 juncture in Trump’s Orlando, FL speech which BTW is “very impressive”:
The speech celebrates Trump’s “magnificent” Art of the Deal brinkmanship, counter coup and his “worthy” Satanic accomplishments. Well worth an hour to listen to, in order to get a good pulse on the U.S.A. from the perspective of a Republican. Note I’m apolitical, not a Democrat.
However, I want you to take note of what Trump states. He is basically asking the people to idolize a huge Federal government. And then at 1:10 Trump states, “…our cherished ally the State of Israel.” Trump boasting about officially recognizing the Holy City as the capital of Israel and sovereignty over the Golan Heights for which part of it has been named Trump Heights.
Bingo! I nailed it.
Understand that Trump is leading the fake “Christians” out of
1 Samuel 8 and into
1 Samuel 15.
That huge apparatus of the U.S.A. is not actually controlled by the voters. It is controlled by the banksters inner circle Zionists. Facts. Go back and study who actually perpetrated 9/11. Who is doing the false-flags to eventually bring Trump back into war with Iran which will draw in Russia and later China.
Then at 1:17 after preaching the evil unadulterated patriotism, Trump desecrates the truth of the Bible by claiming the lie of “In God We Trust”. If that was true, we wouldn’t disobey
1 Samuel 8 and trust a huge government apparatus as our earthly King.
The Puritan-descended fake “Christians” in the U.S.A. idolize Trump because he can “Make American Great Again.” Love of the harlot of statism to enforce their police state, “holier than thou” (holiness spiral which is analogous to the Left Singularity, e.g. of anti-abortion) on everyone (the antithesis of the freewill required to express superrationality and true love for Jesus). Love of standing armies. Love of Trump’s debt-based, spending $700 billion a year to revamp the military killing machine, for the benefit of the inner circle (aka Zionist) banksters who are going to use our military for their geopolitical aims, via their behind-the-curtain, Deep State control over our media, old and new false-flags, and the Five Eyes national securities apparatus. Our military is not for protecting us. Fools! If every American had an AK-47, then no army could step one foot in our land without being shredded by millions of armed patriots.
Nuclear war and nuclear winter are both non-threats to the heartland of the U.S.A.:
The Satanic bastards used their control over propaganda to scare us into idolizing standing armies, scaring us into turning away from the Lord’s commandments as I explain in the next section of this blog.
Martin Armstrong’s best guess is soonest maximum chance for war is between 2024 to 2027.
But Marty sees this more likely to be internal revolution with class warfare and settling old scores, than wars of conquest. Would that be the left versus right in the U.S.A. combined with a renewed war with Russia and China initiated via Iran? Russia and China are aligned with Iran.
Note I want to suggest to Martin reacting to what he blogged, that Republicans also don’t trust Russians after they planted Marxism in the U.S.A. and propped up Cuba and Venezuela:
Humor and serious:
A photo you will not see in America. Ernest Hemingway tete-a-tete with young Castro.
Tangentially at 2:05 in the following interview Trump refers to the crying plebs as “so cute” but he tries to catch himself before completing the utterance ostensibly because it’s “Let them eat cake” aristocratic narcissism psychology in that context:
When I write about “God”, it’s not necessary for you to imagine I’m referring to some omniscient entity. Feel free to insert “natural order of the Universe” for “God” and everything that follows still applies. I will justify this equivalence later. Although if you believe Jesus really lived on Earth, then maybe you’ll want to consider my appeal to the heart towards the end of this.
Emperor Constantine co-opted Christianity with the abomination known as the Catholic church and the Antichrist Pope. So when citing the Inquisition or any other justified reason to hate religion, you’re not rationally referring to superrational, selfless Christians, but rather to fake “Christians”. Most “Christian” sects aren’t much better because for example they teach their followers to (←click that link!) disobey
1 Samuel 8, misinterpret
Romans 13, to render to Caesar what is God’s, pay unconstitutional taxes to fund standing armies. Instead of citizen militias with the God-given inalienable right to all forms of speech/publishing as well as to bear arms of any type without need for Caesar’s permission. Abrogating to a State our Biblical duty to bear arms, is enslavement to a Weberian “monopoly on violence” handed to an earthly King. All in defiance of the intention, as expressed in the U.S. Constitution, of the U.S.A.’s founding fathers who escaped from such tyranny in Europe. I wrote more about the intricacies of this in my recent blog Ethics of Religion, Money and Bitcoin. ←Read my linked blog first, before proceeding below…
Fake “Christians” (who are actually “intoxicated” lovers of Satan, not Christians, even perhaps they don’t realize it) include those who disobey God’s commandment to stop fornicating with and come out of the Great Harlot of (especially large-scale) government (with standing armies) and the commandment to have only the perfect God as their King:
But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord. And the Lord told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you. Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will claim as his rights.”
Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who were asking him for a king. He said, “This is what the king who will reign over you will claim as his rights: He will take your sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots. Some he will assign to be commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and others to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and still others to make weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to his attendants. He will take a tenth of your grain and of your vintage and give it to his officials and attendants. Your male and female servants and the best of your cattle[c] and donkeys he will take for his own use. He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his slaves. When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, but the Lord will not answer you in that day.”
But the people refused to listen to Samuel. “No!” they said. “We want a king over us. Then we will be like all the other nations, with a king to lead us and to go out before us and fight our battles.” — 1 Samuel 8:6–20 NIV
So God punished them by sending them into war as he will punish all of us who refuse to obey Jesus’ commandment to stop rendering to Caesar what is God’s:
Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy[a] all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys. […] But Saul and the army spared Agag and the best of the sheep and cattle, the fat calves[b] and lambs—everything that was good. These they were unwilling to destroy completely, but everything that was despised and weak they totally destroyed […] Then the word of the Lord came to Samuel: “I regret that I have made Saul king, because he has turned away from me and has not carried out my instructions.” […] As Samuel turned to leave, Saul caught hold of the hem of his robe, and it tore. Samuel said to him, “The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today and has given it to one of your neighbors—to one better than you. — 1 Samuel 15 NIV
What Is Christianity?
It’s not like the other religions which don’t have an absolute truth:
The Hindus are way ahead of you. The delusion of the world (the Maya) is merely a dream of Vishnu as he slumbers on his bed of cobras. It’s clearly a much better story.
In the Islamic version […] Whoever declares himself to be the Mahdi and starts the chain of events leading to Apocalypse is the hero of the story, not the villain. The more Muslims who die in this final battle the better, because death in this battle gets them their 72 chicks and their special Allah boy scout badges and whatnot, and everyone must die first anyway so that the Day of Resurrection can take place.
In the far east, under Confucianism and Buddhism, there isn’t an omnipotent god. There is the idea that civilization is a great thing and any dissent in relation to existing power arrangement is an attack on the great civilization we all have – therefore, any dissent is morally wrong.
AFAICS pitfalls of fake “Christianity” cited by others, seems to be a Dunning-Kruger effect wherein they profess their ignorance of what Christianity is. For example the following typical myopia which fails to understand that without imperfection life couldn’t exist in any imaginable universe:
Actually think about this for a second. Your god, who is perfectly benevolent, and all-powerful could have designed the universe any way he wanted. He chose, deliberately, to create a universe where children die every single day of horrible diseases they can do nothing about. He could have made a universe where this wouldn’t happen. He didn’t.
Read my explanation in Ethics of Religion, Money and Bitcoin about why the power-law distribution must exist else we couldn’t exist.
Okay. So let’s get this straight. He’s not all-loving. He’s not omnipotent or omniscient. He doesn’t rule the world. He tried to make a good world, but didn’t really do a very good job […] So far there is no evidence for anything non-natural beyond the Universe.
Selfless, superrational love in not scientifically rational. Without free will to choose or decline it, it has no value. Unbounded freedom is the antithesis of existence because there’s no discernible relative value. Notwithstanding 150+ IQ Eric S. Raymond’s (ESR) scathing critique of Micheal Hipp’s inability to explain that for example
1 Samuel 15 happened because the people rejected superrationality in
1 Samuel 8:
All of you arguing with Michael Hipp are wasting your time. He is insane, in precisely the same way a paranoid schizophrenic is insane.
You can’t talk a paranoid schizophrenic out of being insane, because his mechanisms for belief formation are overridden by his delusional system. That delusional system is anchored deeper in the brain than the parts that do planning and rational thought.
Religious faith is like that, too. You can’t talk people out of it; like paranoid schizophrenics they are infinitely resourceful at defending their delusional systems. The most you can do is take precautions lest they become violent.
Have you ever actually dealt or talked with someone who is committably insane? I have. The behavioral differences from a Michael Hipp talking about religion are not large. There’s the same creepy aura that the words are a thin mask over something tumorous and fixated and pre-verbal, and ultimately don’t matter at all.
Religions – the faith-centered Abrahamic kind – aren’t just any random belief systems. They have important structural features that make people bugfuck crazy. “Credo quia absurdum” – that may be the most important one, the elevation of irrational belief fixation as a virtue.
We don’t have to guess that when religion puts reason to sleep it will beget more, or find that mysterious when that happens. The fact that there are other ways to beget monsters doesn’t affect the logic […] And one of the things we know about Abrahamic religions is that they don’t merely cause insanity, they actively want to cause insanity. That is, they want to induce in human beings a state in which questioning the faith premises is impossible, and reason sleeps.
Apparently ESR’s reason slept because he wasn’t able to grok the actual meaning of the Bible. ESR’s fallible reason constructed a vacuous demon of his choosing, because everyone who is not superrational does exhibit Nietzsche’s ressentiment.
You’ve, perhaps inadvertently, smuggled in a premise that these two models (“selfish, evil people” and “true belief”) are somehow mutually exclusive. Question that premise.
ESR fails to differentiate between a fake and superrational Christian. He entirely fails to grok Jesus’ word. Equating selfless, superrational love with Communism is a monumental inkblot.
The most centrally dangerous belief in Christianity is the exclusivity of [R]evelation.
The capability for selfless, superrational love is power-law distributed, as it must be. Yet everyone has a free will, so they can join if they’re capable of understanding. There only danger is to yourself if you choose to refuse to adopt selfless, superrational love. ESR is afraid of something, but it isn’t non-fake Christianity he fears.
Or the following quoted summary of Nietzsche’s ressentiment is the antithesis of non-fake Christianity:
Regarding the religion of the state: personally, I don’t buy it. However, the statist attitude comes from the same place as the religious attitude — namely the profound feeling of powerless most people have. Lots of people think they have very little control over their lives, and consequently the promise of a benevolent overseer with their best interests at heart is surely intoxicating […] Believing that everything is part of God’s plan must surely remove an amazing weight of responsibility for thinking and understanding from ones’ shoulders.
One of the things I hate most about religion is that they tend to demand a rigid, unyielding set of moral principles. It is certainly a comforting thing to be able to tell wrong from right by looking it up in a book. But the book isn’t long enough to encompass all of the realities of the world.
Any social tribe with enough desperation / frustration and the right instigators has extremely dangerous failure modes. Religion happens to be a common historical one (owing largely I would guess to it’s natural tendency to require leaders and followers) but it certainly isn’t the only.
One bad aspect of religion is “faith” – believing in things because you are told to […] Faith just means belief without evidence. That’s bad because it leads to beliefs that are wrong.
The radical religious folk are dangerous because they don’t think that this world matters enough.
I didn’t say I had no faith. I increasingly have more and more of it because of what my eyes, ears and mind have observed. Lives changed. Illnesses and injuries healed. Predictions coming true. Extremely low probability events taking place after people prayed and fasted […] It happened because a powerful and very intelligent actor decided to intervene.
Christian prayer isn’t for receiving what we want. Instead for helping us to understand what we need and focusing us on maximizing our superrationality.
God has pretty much made it clear that physical punishment is the way to punish wrong-doing. Many hard-core Christians believe this and beat their children as punishment.
The Bible is stating what humans who don’t have superrationality will suffer from. They’re not suffering because God wanted them to not be superrational. You’re not referring to superrational Christians.
Christianity is fundamentally selfless, superrationality. Which is the only means of escaping from Prisoner’s dilemmas by yielding to the benefit of others at one’s own free will and individual (not collectivized) cost. Not to be conflated with the Satanic collectively enforced “altruism” (e.g. governments or the wickedness of holiness spirals of codified morality such as the Puritans or the Pharisees’ Talmud), which is the rent-seeking defection of doling out of infinite debt for infinite wants in the Iron Law of Political-Economics and its resultant tyranny of the majority in democracy.
Selfless, decentralized superrationality is the antithesis of selfish rationality and Rand’s Objectivism, both of which instead feed proliferation of the tyranny of Prisoner’s dilemmas. A key distinction between Christian and rational superrationality is that the former is absolute (i.e. doesn’t require reciprocation) because the Creator (aka the “natural order of the Universe”) will ultimately provide restitution for all sacrifice and asceticism endured.
Christianity appeals to the idealistic heart which is prepared for the required effort, because it’s the ultimate expression of selfless virtue, admiration and love. Christianity is for the meek who are actually the strong:
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. — Matthew 5:5 NIV
Christianity rewards individuals, not groups, sects, churches, governments and other corruptions of the Biblical wisdom:
“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. — Matthew 6:5 NIV
Christianity seems to be the only philosophy of life that is really fully compatible with Libertarianism. Ethics and the non-aggression principle require not only superrationality but also unbounded empathy.
Objectivity and rationality fail because:
Everything Jesus said has been absolutely true and consistent.
We have a choice, either we can choose that there is no superrationality and only rationality. In which case, there is no unconditional love because of Prisoner’s dilemmas. And a world fraught with fighting, pain and misery.
We can instead choose to believe in superrational existence that loves us and emulate that ideal, thus applying superrational sacrifice to our motivation and decisions. IOW, that everything is motivated by what is best for the other person, not for ourselves. In that case, there are no Prisoner’s dilemmas. The key is recognizing that only selflessness is compatible with unconditional love. And that the choice of a belief (and love) in the unfalsifiable God is a choice that one makes because our existence is but an illusion of our choice in the multiverse. Consciousness is but what we choose it to be. Nihilism will illogically reject this as unfounded, and instead choose no foundation at all, no purpose, no life. Love in the form of selflessness is the only form of life. That is what Jesus came to exemplify. All those who claim that such unfounded belief makes people vulnerable to insane collective actions (e.g. the Inquisition) fail to understand that was a reversion from unconditional love to animalism, Nihilism and Prisoner’s dilemmas, i.e. that was not true Christianity.
Self-interest and the secular world is very deficient (and definitely not implying that a State church would be better). @CoinCube explained, “Sin is to embrace this nothingness as reality.”
A thought experiment of what would one do with unlimited wealth? Wealth typically amplifies any latent self-destructive attributes of a personality as the individual tries to fill the void of only rational nothingness to validate their existence. Trump Derangement Syndrome is an example of leftists going berserk by trying to give meaning to their life in the form of ideals that require them to have power of others. Alternatively a wealthy person can seek an insatiable power of enslaving every soul (an implicit, enforced reciprocity) or the challenge of ultimate virtue of selfless, superrationality for benefit of every soul which requires no reciprocity at all.
An example where reciprocity alone fails:
Others follow a code of reciprocity such as I will treat others as I would want myself to be treated.
He knows that cheating would result in less survival for him, his wife & children.
Not always the case. Because of female hypergamy, he does not know if his wife will cheat on him to better her genetic evolutionary status. And he has an incentive to concubine multiple wives if he can force his wife to accept it. This is a Prisoner’s dilemma.
Actually the woman needs the best genetics because her eggs are limited. A man needs the most vaginas because his sperm is unlimited. The unconditional selfless love here is for every person who is capable to help provide for the children regardless, but not forced by a collective police state. Then nature will optimize genetics with lots of sex, yet the children will be cared for. The alternatives are either patriarchy where men enslave women and control their vaginas disabling hypergamy. Or statism where women steal from all men via a collectivized police state (this is the West now). Neither of those outcomes are sane.
Why can’t mankind produce enough to “go forth and multiply” if he has selfless, unconditional love? The problem is selfishness.
180 IQ eminent scientist Freeman Dyson explains why he is a Christian:
Note he also criticizes Einstein as I have. Note Prof. Dyson seems more focused on the community aspect I was describing and less on the idealism of the heart feeling I was trying to convey. Although I do not know what he would say if I probed him further on that.
ESR wrote that the Freemans are so smart, that he felt like the “slow kid” at their family breakfast table. Yet ESR vehemently despises and vilifies religion because he thinks it causes people to act irrationally and become manipulable. But as I wrote before, that is a fallacy because that isn’t Christianity then. Humans are delusional regardless and succumb to forms of mass delusion, e.g. just look at the politics in the U.S.A. right now. AFAICS so far, ESR is a “dumb” self-proclaimed 150—155 IQ smart person, who really hasn’t connected all the dots yet:
I don’t need hard data to conclude that there is no such thing as a square circle. Some existence claims are not merely contingently false in this universe, they are necessarily false in any possible universe. The existence of the theist’s god is in the latter category, not the former.
He seems to not understand the limitations of reason and falsification.
As esr pointed out, it is appropriate to not believe in anything that is logically impossible, such as an omnipotent being.
The Biblical God gives us life by not throwing us into the indiscernible, undifferentiated realities of the entire multiverse. He gives us the bounded speed-of-light, the irreversibility of the time and thermodynamics, and Planck’s constant, which is but an illusion (c.f. hidden variables in quantum mechanics) but a quite useful one for life. This requires power-law distributions as I explained. This give value to selfless, superrational love as I explained. It all fits perfectly.
In the history of Christianity, religion’s moral weight has overwhelmingly been pro-slavery. In the Confederate South clergy issued sermons assuring their flocks that the institution of slavery had firm scriptural foundation, and (unlike Wilberforce’s reformers) they could cite chapter and verse in both Old and New Testament.
Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5 NLT)
This is quite representative, in that Christianity did not merely condone slavery but held up slavish obedience to divine authority as the ideal attitude of free persons
ESR again fails to grok the meaning of the scripture. Menial laborers in factories retrospectively appear as slaves, but that was once considered employment. The power-law distribution is inviolable. Yet that scripture is about both employer and employee having the same master and selfless, superrational love and Biblical capitalism. ESR’s vacuous castigation of fake “Christianity” (and all rationally, irrational religions) is not even wrong. Lol.
His narcissism is evident for example in the following where he imagines he’s a God because…umm…he has the rationality of science, yet not admitting that science is but a circular illusion also! ESR lacks the abstraction range of a true genius such as Dyson. I have challenged ESR many times in his blogs about this which is why he says I am “bat shit insane” (very kind man?):
You have to understand that I was not happy about this at the time. I'd known the score since my early teens; religion was an instrument of oppression, deities a delusion, mysticism a bag of sterile mind-games and somatic circus tricks. I didn't need any of it. I was proud of not needing any of it.
But I still had an omnivorous curiousity, and one of my friends was "into the occult". Had a chin beard, read Crowley, wore black turtlenecks. He loved to talk endlessly about Eastern mysticism and archetypal psychology, shamanism, the organizing role of ritual, magic as mind-change, metaprogramming (I sat for him once while he did LSD). A minister's son; turned into a Fundamentalist with an alcohol problem years later. But he was very educational at the time.
Thanks to him, I had started months before the girl on the landing to see clearly what I'd only dimly grasped in my first pass at the subject; that there is a kind of live internal logic to mysticism and religion, something entwined with psychology that sends runners and shoots all through culture and art.
Not that I took any of it seriously as a description of the real world. It was an intellectual chew-toy, perhaps at best a way of understanding the pathologies that prevented human beings from living the infinitely more desirable life of reason and science.
Until I realized, finally, belatedly, what had been happening to me. Until the Great God Pan reached out of my hindbrain and thundered "YOU!" And his gift is music and his chosen instruments the pipes and flutes. And his, too the power of joy; magic so strong that when it flowed out of me, even before I knew what I was doing, it amazed people into awe and incoherence and poetry.
That day I was reborn; from a skinny lame kid with a flute into a shaman and a vessel of the Goat-Foot God, the Piper at the Gates of Dawn, the Horned Lord. And the music was my first power, but not my last.
In the following essay he correctly analyses that humans are not instinctive killers and can only become mass murderers via obedience, statism, corrupted religion, etc. I am confident that he thinks he is also building a case against all religion, but true Christianity does not allow obedience to Earthly kings nor to killing that is not in self-defense. And he holistically misinterprets the Bible yet again, in that Bible is not saying that man is an instinctive killer but rather that man gets himself entwined in obedience and delusion to effect mass murders (the Bible specifically tells us to come out of these facets of the Satan’s Great Harlot). In short humans are always blaming their plight on something and seeking earthly idols, organization, and Nietzsche’s ressentiment (not resentment) instead of true Christianity as taught by Jesus:
And thus he entirely misses the solution in his conclusion:
To address the real problem in an effective way, we must therefore change our cultures so that either alpha males calling themselves government cease giving orders to perform aggression, or our bachelor males cease following those orders. Neither Hobbes's counsel of obedience to the state nor Rousseau's idolization of the primitive can address the central violence of the modern era — state-sponsored mass death.
The solution of course is to teach youth the selfless, superrational Christianity. Teach them that they must come out of the Great Harlot. The only time they should become warlike is when the Great Harlot comes to murder their community or to extract by force tribute which is God’s. That does not mean organizing a government with a standing army! No our forefathers had it correct in the Constitution which is armed militias where every person has many guns in their household. Unfortunately we Americans fell away from the wisdom. We now fully embrace the Great Harlot. We are unwilling to sacrifice the Great Harlot’s trappings and conveniences in order to be a true Christian.
ESR warns of the ramifications of essentially the equivalent of disobeying
1 Samuel 8 without seeming to understand the necessity of selfless, Christian superrationality:
A government that is big enough to give you everything you want is big enough to take everything away from you […] The depressing part is how safe a bet it is that they’ll go back to being oblivious the moment their direct interests aren’t threatened. They’ll cheer for the next tax hike, the next round of environmental feel-goodism, the next political “fix” for the next transient market failure
Brian Marshall commented:
It is scary. At the risk of stating the obvious: The problem is that, regardless of what they say, almost no one wants even a small, let alone tiny, government. Almost everyone wants other people’s money used to protect them from just about everything bad.
There’s no surety (not even in Salvation) nor need for it in Christianity:
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?
“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. — Matthew 6:26-34 NIV
Yet contrary to his bullshit obfuscation, the hypocrite ESR’s Satanic lust for control supports standing armies to fight Islam and to serve his agenda to spread his progressive democracy to females in Islamic States. Perhaps ESR just really hates the absolute truth that men have to grapple with female hypergamy and lack of discipline:
Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib[a] he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. — Genesis 2:22
A female on his blog unwittingly describes female hypergamy:
Women like great sex probably better than men do. The problem is that they like bad sex a lot less than men do.
You put some young woman in a position of extreme power, when she had probably not even run a shift at McDonalds prior, and things go wrong?
And she doesn’t seem to connect that to why she shouldn’t vote:
The great innovation of America was the idea of a government of limited, enumerated powers. America is explicitly not a democracy. Ultimately, it is the evisceration of this core idea that is the root of all these problems.
ESR can’t rationally conclude that 9/11 was perpetrated by Islamic terrorists (and BTW “Ana raicha Al Qaeda” is colloquial for, “I’m going to the toilet” and Al Qaeda was a reference to the CIA base):
WHEREAS, even many of the Libertarians from whom we expected more intelligence have retreated into a petulant isolationism, refusing to recognize that, at this time, using the state to carry the war back to the aggressors is our only practical instrument of self-defense;
9/11 was a classic false-flag done by the powers-that-be (Deep State, Mossad, Zionists, banksters) for their geopolitical interests. The only sane reaction to 9/11 is to come out of the Great Harlot, but of course Eric does not have that option because he has not understood true Christianity at all.
The trouble with calling it “meta-rationality” is those creatures who flew jetliners into the World Trade Center. Religious faith, is, as you pointed out, socially supported – but it has extremely dangerous failure modes. That’s why it’s important to recognize it as insanity and call it insanity.
No hijackers were on any airplanes that flew into WTC. Hypocrite ESR is expressing a delusional faith in propaganda.
In the following essay, Eric explains why my idea of not prioritizing my own genetics will select me out of the gene pool of the future and thus is a dead end for my philosophy:
This also explains why cultures that have not developed an explicit ideology of sexual equality invariably take female adultery much more seriously than male adultery. A man who fails to take a grave view of his mate's "unfaithfulness" is risking a much larger fraction of his reproductive potential than a woman who ignores her husband's philandering.
Indeed, there is a sense in which a man who is always "faithful" is under-serving his genes -- and the behavioral tendency to do that will be selected against. His optimal strategy is to be promiscuous enough to pick up opportunities to have his reproductive freight partly paid by other men, while not being so "faithless" that potential mates will consider him a bad risk (e.g. for running off with another woman and abandoning the kids).
However, Eric is myopic and incorrect. Freeman Dyson explained why:
Cultural evolution is not Darwinian. Cultures spread by horizontal transfer of ideas more than by genetic inheritance. Cultural evolution is running a thousand times faster than Darwinian evolution, taking us into a new era of cultural interdependence which we call globalization. And now, as Homo sapiens domesticates the new biotechnology, we are reviving the ancient pre-Darwinian practice of horizontal gene transfer, moving genes easily from microbes to plants and animals, blurring the boundaries between species. We are moving rapidly into the post-Darwinian era, when species other than our own will no longer exist, and the rules of Open Source sharing will be extended from the exchange of software to the exchange of genes. Then the evolution of life will once again be communal, as it was in the good old days before separate species and intellectual property were invented.
Is it irrational to believe that multiple universes COULD exist? Dang, I guess Andrei Linde is just a kook along with quite a few other Cosmologists. You can’t likely directly prove the existence of multiverses […] And if you believe the science behind anthropic principles (if any one of lots of different variables were different then life cannot exist) then the mulitverse is the best alternative theory to the existence of some entity fine tuning our universe to have life at all. Weinberg, who’s no fan of religion, points this out…with an infinite supply of universes no God is required to produce the improbable confluence of physical laws that allows life to exist in this universe.
“I am content to be one of the multitude of Christians who do not care much about the doctrine of the Trinity or the historical truth of the gospels. Both as a scientist and as a religious person, I am accustomed to living with uncertainty. Science is exciting because it is full of unsolved mysteries, and religion is exciting for the same reason. The greatest unsolved mysteries are the mysteries of our existence as conscious beings in a small corner of a vast universe.”
“Science and religion are two windows that people look through, trying to understand the big universe outside, trying to understand why we are here. The two windows give different views, but they look out at the same universe. Both views are one-sided, neither is complete. Both leave out essential features of the real world. And both are worthy of respect.”
Prof. Dyson on why we can’t reconcile past and future:
My comment about the following is his wish is what New Orleans used to be on the street corners:
I tend to agree with many or all of Eric’s economic arguments:
The flaw in his “free trade is always best” argument is not the trust factor he recently wrote about:
Rather high trust only exist in Christian society. Free trade is entirely congruent to true Christianity, a philosophy which requires we come out of the Great Harlot. Eric might argue that Libertarianism or anarchism is sufficient, but it’s not.
