Passwords

2 of accounts were made via Steemit and I can confirm that I've not seen master passwords or private keys for those accounts meaning that the master key is probably kept by the accounts that create new Steem accounts on behalf of new people trying to join.

Obtaining Master Keys

I've created two additional accounts via another website and was given private master keys for those two. So, I can recognize the difference. At first, I thought I lost my master key for my first Steem account that I created, which is this one, via Steemit in 2017, but I am pretty sure now that I never got the master key in the first place. I used to ask people about this the past three or so years and I have been confused about the details off and on over the years.

Not Via Steemit

I'm writing all of this for the record to let people know that it would be better to create accounts via other websites. Well, technically, you would need to have a Steem account or at least be sponsored by another Steem account that can create an account for you on your behalf. If you don't do it yourself, you may not get a master key or somebody else may obtain a copy of that master key.

Changing Master Keys

If it is possible to later change your master key, then that might be an option. Making an account on your own might be a bit complex for some people. So, I can understand if people would prefer the easiest way to join or register or sign up possible.

I have a question. What is required to create a recovery account? My first account, this one, was made via Steemit in 2017. I have not seen a private master key for this account and I assume whoever created this Steem account (my Steemit account, @joeyarnoldvn) for me on my behalf has my private master key. According to Steemd, my recovery account is Steem or @steem.

Which keys are required for changing recovery accounts or can I change mine?

Depends on your definition of crime. Tron got exchanges to steal or borrow Steem to smuggle into private and personal Steem accounts that those exchanges own on Steemit to then vote or upvote witnesses and then as heard from Roy Liu and Tron Overlord Justin Sun, they were trying to rush the funds, the Steem, to power down and return the dough back to the clients on those exchanges as quickly as possible before anybody could notice it seems.

Master Keys

No. I've tried many times for years. I've been having this problem for many years now. I used to write articles about this. Based on what I've seen since like 2017, I have not had access to my private master key. I believe I never got it in the first place. I am not new to Steemit. I have made three other accounts and I obtain master keys to two of them and do not have master keys to the ones I made via Steemit as they keep the master keys. My recovery account is @steem.

Yeah. You might be right. So, it is possible that I lost mine if that is true. In 2019, I created another account via Steemit and did not get a master key. But when I created 2 other accounts via another website, I did get the random twelve words or passphrase similar to what you get for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. So, I saved those master passphrases for those two accounts.

Are you talking about just a password or a passphrase as in twelve random words?

There are different kinds of laws, codes, statutes, rules, blue laws, etc. There are local laws, city laws, state laws, federal or national laws, international laws, etc, and more importantly natural law. I like natural law which other laws may stem from. The legal system in America is said to perhaps stem from something something British or who knows what from Europe or specifically England meaning that America could still be under the crown according to some people who study these things and to some extent that may be true.

Profit is one thing but corporate cronyism is another thing altogether.

Because corporatism isn't capitalism.

Corporatism is collusion with government.

Technically, corporatism came out of capitalism and yet corporatism also comes out of not capitalism at the same time.

When I say capitalism, I mean free markets which has been around globally for thousands of years.

Sadly, the United States started becoming an extremely fascist state in the 1930's under FDR.

Depends on what you mean by capitalism.

There are general and specific definitions and examples to what capitalism may or may not be.

A contrast between the two.

People can also hide behind labels.

Marx was describing something that I would not label as capitalism but perhaps something like corporatism.

Monopolism can be dangerous.

Cartels can be dangerous.

Why would a private thing not also be a personal thing?

Monopolies, cartels, corporations, are like empires, tyrannies.

Corporations have had unfair advantages, some may argue, when they have colluded with governments, organizations, monopolies, cartels, agencies, etc.

Therefore, I'm against corporate capitalism.

Is a company a corporation?

Was Google not granted by the state?

Was Facebook not created via DARPA?

What about the origin of IBM which is traced back to Hitler?

What about George Bush, his father, and his grandfather?

If a monopoly does not make a profit, is it then not a monopoly?

Bitcoin for example, people can go to Ethereum or Litecoin or any of the other over thousand cryptocurrency alternatives. Bitcoin forked into Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold which means we can fork and go a different direction if government takes over it. We make new alt coins too.

So, we are able to get away and run away if they prohibit Bitcoin through prohibition which government is legally not allowed to stop Bitcoin as it is not in the jurisdiction of one country as it is on a blockchain which is neither here nor there meaning Bitcoin is everywhere and nowhere and Bitcoin is not a thing that you own or I own but we ONLY get access to some of it as Bitcoin stays on the network and therefore government cannot really take from us what we do not have. That is what I would argue in court. John Mcafee argues for Bitcoin too.

Yes, China is trying to take over the world. Also, Islam is trying to take over the world. Christianity is retracting, shrinking. And globalism, leftism, is also a third big thing trying to take over the world.

But blockchain and cryptocurrencies can only be stopped if you blow up all the computers and everything else in the world all at the same time.

When you make time for people, stars align. Things are so magical and so much better when you are there for them when they need you most. Life is so magical like Oatmeal in my bowl, are you in control?

This girl was probably about 20 years old in this photo, is a Vietnamese, was in college studying acting. I recorded one of her rehearsals with her fellow actors or something.

It was all in Vietnamese and was not too sure what was going on that one day. But it is still, however, always good to make connections, to network with others, to develop relationships with people, and you will never know why or how it will work out until many years later but things do work out eventually, believe me. Life is amazing and all for the better. Stick with it. Keep up the good work. Remember, you can call me Joey.
