Hello All, name's Daniel

Hi, Steemit users! My name is Daniel Sommer, born in New York City but recently moved to Daytona Beach to study Electrical Engineering.

As of now, I have two occupations. The first, and very time consuming one, is being a landlord. This started because I was looking for a place to stay off campus and my father suggested we outright buy a house, due to how cheap the housing market is down there (especially compared to New York City). A year later, we have four houses under our belt, all rented out!

The second occupation is being an Independent Representative. Here, I help people get out of debt, become financially independent, and become properly protected. I would have loved to write some articles on some of the things I do, hopefully teach people a bit more about finance than they knew before, but policy forbids me from doing that.

Being part of the Steemit community now, I would love to contribute to this society, hopefully in the form of knowledge. I’m thinking of maybe making some java tutorials (right now I’ve been playing around with Minecraft moding… I find it rather entertaining seeing what I can make), or maybe some articles helping with DIY fixes for your house. Lastly, being in college, eating is always an entertainment. If I come up with a good recipe, I’d like to share it with you guys and see how you guys like it! I’ve made some pretty odd stuff, throwing together just a bunch of random things, and some of them were oddly satisfying.

One thing I would eventually like to do is test out a bunch of GPUs and post the specs here and how well each perform for different algorithms. I’ve seen some websites out there, but none of the ways they’re set up tickle my fancy.
