REDBACK SPIDER
The Widow Spider - Latrodectus Hasseltii

Another Night Photography Adventure by @bullionstackers , searching for #insects and creatures of the dark. I found this mama Redback Spider waiting for its prey.

Redback Spider are members of the order Latrodectus, Widow spider. One of the Most Venomous Spider known.

The adult female is easily recognised by her spherical black body with a prominent red stripe on the upper side of her abdomen and an hourglass-shaped red/orange streak on the underside. Females have a body length of about 10 millimetres (0.4 in), while the male is much smaller, being only 3–4 mm (0.12–0.16 in) long.

I finally got my Evidence, that the Red strip on the Redback Spider is actually on the Top of the belly.
Did I actually found a Drone?

This One is for @papa-pepper
Quote from @papa-pepper

Technically, the red hourglass is on the belly of the black widow, not the back.

DRONE, total drone. Electrocute it!

Already smashed it to BITS, If you get a Drone Bugging your place, surely a problem.

Using Bugs to BUG our places.....

The nerves of them!

Those legs look like they're made out of metal.

Untouched just cropped the edge from the photoshop

Must be a drone! It's spying on you! But seriously, those metallic legs make it look even more menacing. Where was it?

Reflection from my Lantern light.
I almost lost it, the light is too bright.

Good photos though. Here's some old Dutch money-turned-bullion for you as a virtual reward, can't stack it, I'm afraid:

I don't post about bullion though :-).

We have tons of black widows here. But I think they're common in various varieties all over the world. Ours have the hourglass on the belly.

Yes, it depending on location. Evidence to backup my previous comment.

Wow, I can't sleep now.

Drink some warm milk, that will help

I'll try that!
