Drawing like a pro - 20, drawing circles (Power up 100%)
Hi friends!
It is very useful mastering freehand drawing of circles in perspective, it will be very useful when we want to make a composition with a jug, or a bottle, a glass, or pots, etc.
To draw a circle in a front view we can make a square and divide it into four as shown in the image below (left).
Next, we draw a closed curve that touches each side of the square at its midpoint (right).
See the previous lesson to see how to draw it in perspective. 18-Masterclass and 19-HW Contest
First draw a horizon line where you want and then mark a viewpoint on the horizon as shown.
Then draw a square similar to this one and divide it into four.
(Follow the steps indicated in 18-Masterclass and 19-HW Contest)
Now, draw the curve (ellipse) touching the four midpoints of the sides of the rhombus as you can see in the image.
Draw several circles in perspective, make as many as you want in different positions and orientations.
Here are some circles drawn as examples.
I wish you a very nice day and good exercise!

Greetings my friend @jorgevandeperre
If I don't read your introduction, I could assure that the strokes have been with a ruler or square, they look perfect, excellent handling in your hands.
Hi, thanks for your kind comment! Only the circles are drawn freehand, not the straight lines.
Yes, Jorge, you are a real master :)
😄 Thanks, friend!
You are welcome 🖐️ 😊
That is excellent tutorial, to develop the feeling of perspective :)
Thank you Stef, I hope it can be helpful.
