The Challenge: At least 100 honest reps of exercise every day. No excuses. No bullsh*t. Just actions, positivity, and results. Only post AFTER your reps are done.

  • If you can't contribute yet, try to eat natural foods and stay well hydrated without the sugar for now.

  • It's ok to start with a number you're comfortable with if you can't reach 100. You choose what exercises to do.

  • 30 minutes of dedicated brisk walking, running, or SPINNING (new) can count as 100 reps if you're unable to lift or need to rest.

  • I'll award 1 SBD to each person who reaches every 10,000 rep milestone. So far, 7 SBD have been paid out.

My Daily Challenge Completed - 185 reps:

-50 Straight Back Bar Deadlifts (75 pounds)
-25 Bar Shoulder Presses (75 pounds)
-10 Bicep Bar Curls (75 pounds)
-100 reps (45 minute walk)

My Daily Assessment:

-It feels good to be walking again. I used to walk a few miles a day and stopped over the last few months due to the cold and laziness. Once the weather warms up, I'll be walking non-stop for good cardio to keep my legs in shape for baseball. I felt good energy working out today, but had to cut it short to be somewhere earlier.

Feedback from @mightpossibly:

"I find it deeply satisfying to do these reps, which is a big deal. I've always hated the gym and prefer to exercise at home. But I've lacked the discipline to do it. It sort of feels like I have gym buddies now, without the hassle of going to the gym."

Feedback from @notorious562:

"I seriously cannot explain how much this group pushes and motivate me to keep working harder. I love this fitness community and the support and encouragement will help us achieve our goals."

Nice workout! I'm just getting started using the bar myself. I'm taking baby steps with it because of all the technique involved. Yesterday I used it for shoulder exercise and on monday i used it on a bench. Working my way to the deadlifts.

Follow-up question: How did you learn to exercise with the bar? I notice you use it regularly. Did someone teach you or did you figure it out on your own? I find that I require for constant feedback on my technique now that I'm learning to use it for various exercises.

It's the only real iron weights what I have in my apartment and seems natural for me. I have my Bowflex Revolution, but I haven't used it in ages. Keeping proper form with posture and feet width is important, staying stable and not rocking for momentum is also key for quality reps. I honestly wouldn't say I have the best advice on how to work out with it, it's just second-nature to me like any dumbell.

That's interesting.

Then it might seem that some people just figure this out by themselves while others need more guidance. I've always had a hard time with physical exercises, posture and body control in general, and I feel that I just started to figure these things out (maybe a little before I turned 30).

It's a goal for me to have the space and the necessary equipment to work out at home as well at some point, but I gotta learn how to use the equipment first. Unfortunately this means I gotta go to a place where they have that equipment (and loud music), but on the other hand I'm well on the way.

Good input.

Nice work brother! 50 straight deadlifts is legit.

Thank you. It's still baby weight, but it adds up.

No way bro progress is progress!

Ok. now I am follow you...

Thanks for your first entry. Looks like we have a serious contender here.

If you're comfortable sharing your home country, I'll include it in the list. Otherwise, we can leave it out.

No problem, I’m from the Netherlands.
I’m very serious about training, it’s a pity still many woman don’t realize that cardio is just not going to do it for them.
