The deserts of Ark - More heavy machines

In this post, I will continue my story about the game Ark: Survival Evolved. This series is about the Scorched Earth map.

I've showed you some heavy machinery before. Some are even exclusive to this map. I want to show you another one that is exclusive to Scorched Earth: an oil pump!

On the Center map, you can dive down to the bottom of the sea and gather oil from there. On the Island map, you can gather oil from special stones in the ice areas. Scorched Earth doesn't have those options. To fix your oil problem here, you can either gather very small amounts from a lot of bugs (tedious), or, you can find an oil source and set down a pump!

Another big machine we've added to our compound is the industrial forge.

This thing is huge, but it melts metal very quickly. It also burns through a lot of wood if you need charcoal for anything (bullets!). It is not exclusive to the Scorched Earth map. You'll need to gather lots of materials to make this one.

Once you turn this thing on, you'd better get out of its way, because it generates a lot of heat! When you're already in the desert, you'll overheat quite quickly when close to this forge.
