The deserts of Ark - Heavy machinery

In this post, I will continue my story about the game Ark: Survival Evolved. This series is about the Scorched Earth map.

Besides the pretty sunset views and long looking distance, there are a couple of other advantages to this desert map: the heavy machinery.

Some things are available on all maps, but these two fun toys are only available on the Scorched earth map:

A flamethrower! As if it wasn't already hot enough on this map!

And my favorite, as a substitute for beavers:

The chainsaw!

This handy tool can help you cut down trees and gather wood in no time. Just make sure you keep an eye on your carrying capacity, because a few cuts from this thing will fill up your inventory and weight in a matter of seconds. Bring a (dinosaur) friend/mule!

Oh, and not exclusive to this map, but very handy to have:

A power generator and airco. To keep you cool during those pesky heatwaves.
