The deserts of Ark - The cutest weather alarm

In this post, I will continue my story about the game Ark: Survival Evolved. This series is about the Scorched Earth map.

In my previous post, I talked about the different weather conditions and how it can be dangerous to get caught in them. When travelling through the desert, you should atleast keep a tent with you to hide in if you do get caught offguard.

Still, it might be a little inconvenient if you are right in the middle of a fierce battle with dinosaurs and you get hit by a sandstorm. Say goodbye to your stamina and most likely your life aswell!

So what to do to prevent these nasty situations? Simple, get yourself a Jerboa!

A Jerboa!

These terribly cute creatures warn you for an upcoming extreme weather condition! They do this by making sounds. A different sound per weather condition.

When sitting on the ground, they also show a seperate animation per weather condition.

The best is, they can just ride around on your shoulder!

Okay, I lied, the best thing is that they can wear cute hats.

So if you want to stay safe, be sure to carry a Jerboa around with you while out in the desert map.

Sounds good, doesn't it?
