STEEMIT FRUITS AND VEGGIES MONDAY COMPETITION WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT ๐ ๐๐๐ฟ๐๐๐
Happy Wednesday my friends! I am back today with the winners from this week, but also quite a few fun changes that our dear @lenasveganliving came up with! Though we are still awarding the top three PRIZES with upvotes from our generous sponsors, she has come up with different categories for other FRUITS AND VEGGIES AWARDS to give everyone some recognition for their excellent entries. Here are the categories (we may adjust and add more as we see fit!):
- Healthiest Recipe
- Best Presentation
- Best Photography
- Most Creative Recipe
- Best Vegan Dessert
- Best Traditional Recipe Made Vegan
- Most Entertaining Entry
- Most Educational Entry
To make TOP THREE your entry must hit the HEALTHY, PRESENTATION, and PHOTOGRAPHIC categories, but may also fit in some of the other categories, as well. To be considered HEALTHY recipes must be refined sugar free (sub with natural sugars like dates & other fruits, maple syrup, molasses, raw coconut sugar, stevia leaf, or even xylitol), white flour free (sub whole grain flours like spelt, oat, kamut, coconut, almond meal, or even bean-based flours like chickpea or black bean), and preferably free from too many processed items or deep frying. Extra points for lots of vibrant colors and local fruits and veggies. ;)
Lena will continue to judge while we get the hang of the new system, but I think in the end it will make things even more exciting to have multiple categories of fun entries to share each week!
