I want to share with you a truly fantastic event. Our fabulous fellow freewriter @wandrnrose7 did an amazing thing! Here is what she wrote:
I was part of the Muxxy and Shane Show mspvaves audience and they do a lottery roll. If you are over 400SP you can't win, but you are able to stand in for another minnow. I chose you. I've been hunting for delegations for you since (@marillaanne) posted about your dilemma. I prayed I'd win for you and I won the first roll. I'm glad that I caught the radio show. I hope one day you can come in and talk about your freewrite prompt! You are most welcome and I know it was well delegated. I believe it will last a month. <3

Weekend Freewrite
This is the third week that we are switching it a bit up for one day. If you are ready for a bit more of a challenge - 3 prompts to weave into a 15 minute freewrite - stop reading now and look for this graphic
What to Do
- Set your timer for 5 minutes.
- Start writing
- Use the hashtag #freewrite
- Publish your piece (include a link to this post if you wish)

Yes, it was intentional for you to choose a prompt. On one weekend day, I offer a 3 prompt writing exercise. for those who don't want to take it on, they have a choice of any of the prompt we already did. - I think there are only a couple of people who have done them all.
You really painted a picture of anxiety in such a short piece. Well done!!!

I'm going to go hunt down the Freewrite weekend option. Also, thanks so much for the tip of not voting once you're under 90%. It helped me figure out something new :)

I don't really know what all the lingo is here yet, but thanks! I did the 15 minute prompts AND you've been a big inspiration for me in working on a story I started on a couple of months ago that I wanted to finish. Some day I'll post it on my blog, but I wanted you to know that your contest has definitely helped me flex my writing muscles again after a long long dry spell!

Congratulations @mariannewest!! Slow and steady you'll become a big fat whale with a bunch of minnows swimming at your side (uhm not sure if this is a good thing to say to a lady :-P)
hahaha - I can see the big and fat - don't know about getting to whale - seems pretty darn hard... so, let's just swim :)
I believe that becoming "relevant" here is similar to an hyperbolic path...difficult at the beginning but every step easier once you gain traction and enough "critical mass". I am glad that you're managing to gain such mass (metaphorically talking :-P) due to the fact that you're someone with values and empathy :-)
