Low Carb Meal: Pan Seared Chicken With Creamy Sauce & Steamed Broccoli

Hello, Steemians!!


I'd like to share with you this healthy dish that you can make at home. You can also prepare this ahead of time and save it the fridge so can just heat it up for later and it'll still be delicious.

Serving size: 1

Ingredients:

Two big slices boneless chicken
1 cup broccoli heads
3 tablespoons Olive Oil
1/8 cup all-purpose cream
1/8 cup of water
red pepper flakes
salt
black ground pepper

Directions:

  1. Cook chicken in a pan over medium heat for about 10 minutes with olive oil, salt and pepper.

  2. Steam the broccoli for about 5-6 minutes.

  3. While the chicken is cooking, heat up another pan on low heat. Add butter. Whisk all-purpose cream and water. Then add the red pepper flakes, dash of salt and pepper.

Cooking Notes:

Make sure chicken is at room temperature

Omg i just had this too , salmon with steem broccoli 🥦. However my salmon was fried , i need the oil to burn for my 30laps swim tomorrow. Hehe..

what kind of oil do you use for cooking?

are you an athlete?

I use butter instead of olive oil. Coz at this point i need fat to burn more fats . Because those naughty hard fats are hard to get rid .

How i wish i was ... i use to play table tennis hardcore til representing my state, but now its a just a leisure sport to get healthier life.

Yes i have . Im kinda on it on 95% . No carbs and no sugar for the past 4months .

Steamed broccoli is one of the best things. It tastes amazing.
