Recipe : Meuseukat is beautiful cake and delicious typical aceh 🍰 🍰 🍰

Today I will introduce and share Traditional Acehnese recipe cake named Meuseukat.


Yellow yellowish cake and sweet taste, texture chewy and soft and on the top can be decorated into various shapes and engraving interesting.

The white philosophy of the meuseukat cake symbolizes the clarity of the heart, friendliness and friendliness attached to the people of Aceh while welcoming guests. Acehnese people glorify guests not only through behavior, but they also glorify guests by serving traditional food and traditional pastries. Ennobling guests in this way has been done by aceh people long ago and has become a habit of aceh people. Meuseukat is one of Aceh's special cakes to be the main dish to glorify anyone who visits Aceh.

Meuseukat cake is a typical Aceh cake made from wheat flour and a mixture of pineapple. The meuse cake has a dominant sweet taste and the sour taste comes from a mixture of oranges and pineapple added to the dough.

Recipe cake meuseukat :

Ingredients
- 500 grams of Wheat Flour
- 250 grams of Sand Sugar
- 1 pineapple
- 2 oranges Juice
- Sufficient Water White
- 40 grams Butter

Step

  • Peel the pineapple fruit and wash it clean, take the pineapple water by dissolving and squeezing the pineapple so as to produce pineapple water. After that, squeeze the orange then mix the orange juice with pineapple water in one container. Then filter to prevent fibers from remaining in the dough.
  • Next, enter enough mineral water into the pan then boil water until boiling, input sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves and blends with water. Then put the flour and mixture of orange and pineapple water and stir until boiling. Then reduce the heat and enter the butter, stirring constantly for 2 hours until the dough is cooked.
  • When it has thickened and solid, turn off the heat then pour the dough into the tray that has been given a plastic mat on it so that the dough does not stick to the talam. Leave a little dough to decorate the top of the meuseukat
  • Wait for meusekat to cool until the meuseukat hardens with a soft and soft texture when pressed with fingers.
  • take the dough meuseukat sufficiently, decorate it on the meuseukat according to your creation if have finished decorate and meuseukat have look beautiful, then meuseukat ready to be served.


Meuseukat only available on certain days, Because the specialty of the cake meuseukat it is very difficult to find in the market or pastry shop. To be able to enjoy meuseukat then have to order or make your own.

Hi @muftykutink, that was a great post. Aceh has too many traditional foods, Meuseukat is one of the best cake. By the way, I like your writting layout. How can you do that writting? I have tried and always fail. I only can to do bold and italic. I can't write by the perfrct layout, like putting some image beside text, center text, bigger text font and another.
