Recipe : Timphan Delicious Traditional Aceh Cake

#Aceh's special cake or delicious traditional #aceh cake is Timphan. The ears of the aceh people are familiar with the cakes of Timphan but for the global steemians the cake is foreign, so I want to share the recipes and the process of making a typical Timphan cake #aceh to global steemians so that global steemians can try this recipe.

Cake Timphan there are 2 kinds, namely Timphan Asoe Kaya (Timphan Rich Contents) and Timphan Asoe U (Timphan contents of coconut). Both of these Timphans have their own flavor characteristics, for myself I really like Timphan Asoe Kaya, I can spend 2 plates of Timphan Asoe Kaya so much as I like with Timphan Asoe Kaya, so in this article I only explain one kind of Timphan namely Timphan Asoe Kaya (Timphan Rich Contents), may global steemians friends love it.

The main ingredient Timphan Asoe Kaya (Timphan Rich Contents) :
500 grams of white sticky rice flour
200 grams of Banana
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 pack of instant coconut milk
½ gram Vegetable oil
2 pieces of Banana Leaf

The ingredient of contents Timphan Asoe Kaya (Timphan Rich Contents) :
1 pcs of chicken eggs
350 ml of natural coconut milk
350 ml of sugar
Water leaves pandanus

How to make a Timphan Asoe Kaya :


The first step is to make the dough for the outside of Timphan, Cuts the banana and put in 350 ml of water mixed with 1 pack of instant coconut milk, give a little salt then Put it in the boiler and boil.

Prepare the salver, put the glutinous rice flour and mix with banana stew dough, stir and squeeze until the dough looks smooth.

The second step makes the dough rich contents of Timphan, mix 350 ml of sugar, 350 ml egg and 350 ml glass of coconut milk, water pandan leaves to taste, give salt, put into blender mixer and blending until dough flattened. After the dough flush into the cauldron and heat until cooked.


ASOE KAYA (Rich Contents)

The next step, prepare and cut banana leaves square, then wash the surface with vegetable oil. Put the dough as big as a pimpong ball and press it flat.
Add Asoe Kaya in the middle, then roll until the dough closes Asoe Kaya and dressing with banana leaf then enter one by one into the boiler, After that steamed for +/- 15 minutes or until the banana leaves look withered.

Right @eroche, timphan egg jam does remind us to home. timphan has a soft teste, simple cake but can be enjoyed together. timphan is a typical traditional aceh cake and I hope this article can be a winner.
