You Are What You Eat (My Food/Fitness Blog #5)

MONDAY (12/11/17)
One scoop of rice with some soy sauce pork sprinkled with crispy onions on top. The crispy onions is 15 calories per tablespoon I can guarantee you that. I guess you can call this my lunch. I was craving a Chirashi bowl so I went to the Nijiya Market to get it. This is my dinner. I needed desert along with my dinner so I bought me tea and ice cream both of them from the Nijiya Market This is a close up of my ice cream. Monday wasn't bad at all I was full, satisfied, and kept my calories in check.

TUESDAY(12/12/17)
Honestly this looked prettier than I thought. This is a steak with a bit of vegetables and some fried potatoes. A few tangerines that I peeled and they were refreshing. I was craving sweet tea so I got this from Nijiya Market. Fried rice mixed with curry sauce with beef cubes and a little popcorn chicken and two curry croquettes. The popcorn chicken and the curry croquettes I got from a milk tea place. I made a mistake on the order. I should've asked for a vegetable croquette but I said croquette and they assume curry croquette. Round 2. Tuesday also wasn't bad as I was full, satisfied, and kept my calories in check.

WEDNESDAY (12/13/17)
Again small steak with fried potatoes. I think French restaurants would call this steak frites. I got this sushi from Nijiya Market. I had to take a final on that day and I used all the time to study. After that final I went out to buy that sushi.

THURSDAY (12/14/17)
I was craving a croquette and I also wanted to try out the calamari they had at the milk tea place. Turns out that I don't like the calamari they sell but I do love their croquettes. As you can I had the two with a bit of dumplings. My parents bought black bean noodles and Beijing style fish filled from a Chinese restaurant. The black bean noodles is a Chinese-Korean fusion dish with the sauce and the cucumbers. Round 2 of this dish. My friend came by and bought this for me cause he had too many of these. I guarantee you guys I keep my sugar in check.

FRIDAY (12/15/17)

I was surprised as anybody else that I manage to find time to exercise during finals but this how many calories I burned based on the treadmill I was using. Treadmill says 751.8 calories but since it didn't factor my REAL weight and assumed I was JUST average and not a LITTLE overweight I burned about 850 calories.

I later went to Mitsuwa Marketplace to buy me a bento box.

The bento box comes with miso soup.

I also ordered two croquettes along with it.

Here you can see the whole thing.

This is another shot where I put it all together for some food porn.

Got this Korean food as you can see the size of my hand it was a small bowl of black rice+white rice with tofu, a little bulgogi beef, a little spicy pork all sprinkled with sesame seeds and corn.

I came back home and found pastries my family bought so I decided to have milk and cookies. I guess you can say I went a little overboard with my calories on that day but I did went to the gym on that day and burned PLENTY of calories.

SATURDAY (12/16/17)
I decided to treat myself with a little barbecue so I went to Pepper Lunch. I simply ordered extra meat with two eggs as you can see how overfilled it is. Top view. Front shot or the back shot. Another shot for some food porn action. You can see that the meat cooks on top of the bowl and it gives that visual appeal. I ended that day with a bowl of cereal. Strawberry toasted crunch. I could ve picked a different cereal but I never tried this one so I decided to buy it. It is not bad but not my most favorite of all cereals.

SUNDAY (12/17/17)


I had another final on the Monday and I guess you can say the stress does affect my appetite. This is all I ate on that day.

Summary:

As you can see from my pedometer the only day I worked out was on a Friday. Finals was really stressing me out that I didn't have time to go to the gym. For the most part I am glad that I kept my calories in check and I am not on any caloric surplus.
