11 Steemians for 3,046 total reps today. 100,000 should be hit tomorrow. WHAT?!

Calling whales, dolphins, and the fitness community to take notice of us busting our asses with nothing but hard work and commitment.

I will award 1 SBD for every 10,000 honest reps you submit to my Daily 100+ Rep Fitness Challenge. I will honor all prior reps done before today. 3 SBD awarded so far! I will revisit this reward structure as the team grows over time.

Please join us, help us spread the word, and/or simply reward these dedicated Steemians providing their daily workouts and blog posts with some upvote support.

More people are joining because they've finally SEEN this blog series, and wish they did sooner. In the spirit of helping others be healthy and join a supportive team, please help us by upvoting and resteeming for visibility.

These Steemians are also creating their own original posts linked below to prove their hard work. Please also support their passion and dedication!

The Challenge: At least 100 honest reps of exercise every day. No excuses. No bullsh*t. Just actions, positivity, and results. Only post AFTER your reps are done.

  • If you can't contribute yet, try to eat natural foods and stay well hydrated without the sugar for now.

  • It's ok to start with a number you're comfortable with if you can't reach 100. You choose what exercises to do.

  • 30 minutes of dedicated brisk walking, running, or SPINNING (new) can count as 100 reps if you're unable to lift or need to rest.

My Daily Challenge Completed - 105 reps:

-50 Reverse Forearm Bar Curls (75 pounds)
-35 Bar Shrugs (75 pounds)
-20 Forearm Bar Curls (75 pounds)

My Daily Assessment:

I got back to my apartment after ~4 day visiting/helping my parents. I did need to focus on push-ups, this trip forced me to do them and progress with my endurance. By the third day, they were much easier, despite being sore. I ate and hydrated fairly well there, so my weight got up to about 207-208 lbs. I don't and won't have 5% body fat, but I feel like I'm gaining some good lean-enough muscle weight from these reps. Now that I'm back, I'm looking forward to using the ez curl bar again.

Feedback from @mightpossibly:

"I find it deeply satisfying to do these reps, which is a big deal. I've always hated the gym and prefer to exercise at home. But I've lacked the discipline to do it. It sort of feels like I have gym buddies now, without the hassle of going to the gym."

Please see my first post linked below for my motivation, the challenge background, rules, and details for the Steemit Silver Coin prize! It's also got some personal stuff about why I'm doing this, so it could be a good motivator.

Good stuff, I think it really helps spead the word if we all can create our own posts for the challenge.
@steemmatt puts in good work for this challenge, so would like to see him get more upvotes for his effort

Daily Challenge Completed - 156 reps:

Today with exercise names!

  • 10x3 Leg extensions (30)
  • 20x2 Forward lunges with weights (40)
  • 10x3 Leg curls (30)
  • 45+30+30 second Wall sit (20) (longest and hardest seconds of my life!)
  • 12x3 Calf Raise (36)

Here's todays' soundtrack:

I used to have to do lots of wall sits in high school. Guess what? I don't think I've ever done more than one ever since... I hate those! That's a real leg day. Hopefully you don't have to trudge through the snow tomorrow because you might get stuck.

Ha ha I understand completely. I thought it was going to be something like the plank, uncomfortable and hard, but it was a thousand times worse! Luckily, today is resting day - no snow-trudging whatsoever. This has been the most intense workout week in my life, but the crazy part is that I'm still very motivated to continue next week.

Nice rhythm and she is very cute. Do you exercise to the music?

When I do dumbells I watch a TV show. It takes the boredom away and I surprise myself in that I actually do more reps.

I agree that she's cute. Yes, I listen to it when I exercise at home - at the gym I can't pick the playlist unfortunately, so in those cases I usually listen to my own music after instead, on my way home. TV gets a little too distracting for my part, but I understand where you're coming from :)
