Best 21 EOS Block Producer Research
Hi everyone,
I’ve been following the EOS Block Producer campaign for a while and now that we’re edging closer to the launch date I thought some research into the best candidates might be beneficial to other EOS token holders as voting begins.
My reasoning is that with so many Block Producers out there it would tough for everyone to go through each and everyone. So I did my best to do that myself, and in doing so, be of service to the community.
Important: This is my opinion and should not be substituted for your own research. I may have made mistakes, so please do you own due diligence. I hope, however, that this can be of use to you.
I’ve listed what I believe to be the top Block Producer candidates as of today, the 1st of June 2018. I’d appreciate all feedback and criticism, and feel free to add candidates in the comments.
If this becomes a community effort we may be able to paint a better picture of who the best candidates out there are, based on the criteria below.
Selection Criteria: Technical Competence, Leadership, Governance & Transparency, Geographical Distribution, Attention/Support to the EOS Community/Ecosystem (especially in so-called “hubs”), Vision & Roadmap, BP Checkmarks, and influence, expertise and experience in the crypto ecosystem.

I am including some info about EOS USA. Please consider supporting us in the race to BP!
EOS USA is a Block Producer candidate in Greer, SC.
EOS USA can access bandwidth of 1 Gigabit connection up, and 1 Gigabit down. The total bandwidth on this connection is 93% available for other uses. The transformer at 1 Distribution Court has just completed upgrading and doubling the KVA of the transformer in 2017. As more applications move to the cloud, they leave behind dozens of multi core, rack mounted, 1U, 2U and 4U servers. EOS USA has approx 128 cores, less than 7 years old. We believe we can reuse these cores, consisting of 2TB RAM and 100TB of redundant storage collectively with these rehabilitated servers. Our triple redundant internet connections and unlimited supply of used servers will allow EOS USA to effectively scale in a green and low cost manner.
EOS USA resides in a converted 1,500 sq ft data center. This space is equipped with a 1 gigabit up and 1 gigabit down cyber connection, redundant cable modem, and redundant 4G wireless connection. In the event of communications failure, EOS USA has a triple path redundancy built-in. Similar to the server hardware, many companies have upgraded their Fortinet equipment, and left behind the worlds best firewalls at a fraction of cost. This makes our Block Producer one of the most secure in the entire EOS environment.
