in #education7 years ago

Apasen international is a UK based charity organization works for Autistic children in Bangladesh. In the beginning of 2017, Apasen international visited Bangladesh with its partner school PHOENIX PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL ( An Award winning autistic school in UK). They were visiting Bangladesh to create awareness on autism in Bangladesh and give in training to parents and teachers from different schools. I was joined with them as I have been working with School of Joy .

On 2 February, 2017

From Left, Shelina Mannan(teacher, Phoenix school), Zakir Hossain ( Head of training, Apasen International) , Veronica Armson( Deputy Head Teacher, Phoenix School) , and I Mohammed Abdul Aziz (Founder, School For SDG4). We were standing in front of @SchoolForSDG4 . When you are visiting us ? 💌 send me a DM .

Kids were waiting for few days to meet foreigners as we said them some foreigners will come to visit us. They were so happy and excited because they did not met any foreigners before.

Welcome to my school initiatives.

Later we went to class room to see How the kids are learning at @SchoolForSDG4 . Some local people also gathered to see what happening there when they saw foreigners.

I was helping kids to participate group song with guests.

We sang a song together "we shall overcome" in Bengali " "আমরা করব জয় "

My University lecturer was telling details about my school to guests.

Then we started to song we shall overcome. Veronica, Shelina , Zakir and Abdul Latif also joined to sing with kids. We also sang Bangladesh National Anthem together.

We are thankful to them visiting us. After visiting our school they also visited some more public and private schools to create awareness about autism and invite school to get training from them on 4th February, 2017. I will make a separate post about training on autism.

Thanks for reading.

OMG they look so cute bro, great stuff

Thank you very much @thecynic Thanks for reading about our kids

I seen you in Steemchat, and I am glad i came to read your article. I remember spending time with an autistic youth, and I have always been almost envious of how happy they can be. Sure, it is a long and hard road. I think many feel worse about an autistic persons' plight than even they do. Good read man! What you do is noble, kind, and very necessary. Much love!

So amazing. thank you very much for your visit my work and comment with your experience. We need to help them as a mean of responsibility and the are not different but not less then us. you can read about more about my school work from @SchoolForSDG4

Absolutely! And it is you sir who deserves to be paid like a football player. We live in a world where honor and Noble practice isn't rewarded. And I don't think you would argue that you can learn as much from them as they can from you, and more often than not they are an innocent and intense pleasure to be around. I appreciate you and your chosen pursuit my friend. I honestly tip my 🎩 to you.

This is also true that teachers if paid like this can't be a noble profession because all profession can't be measured by financial value. Though in our countries, most private school teachers are paid $25 monthly for 6-8 hours of teaching. They also sign papers so they can't search for any other job. So people come in teaching by choice not by chance.

It is not true for all schools, govt. schools pays more . In my school I changed the slave system but I can't pay more than I earn. so Hope steemit reward will help me. Thanks again friend. people who understand the value of work are always kind man. you made me happy. Thanks
