Why Does It Take People being At The Point Of Death To Realise Life's Harshest Realities

in #dtube5 years ago (edited)

To my understanding life activities and various stages of growth in life is the reason why we hardly realise that life ends the quicker we know, sometimes our ambitions are set up but life is shut down, sometimes we gather wealth that we might not even finish spending and we keep gathering only to realize one day that we could have touched people's life but what's that stage of realism? "At the point of death" I've come to realize that people say a whole lot of heart touching things when they're at the point of death and why is this? This is because they know it's the end of the road and by so doing they might find peace or eternal comfort.
In earnest life's already a vanity and if people understands or begins to understand this, that's when people find find the futility in things like greed we shouldn't have to wait for the worst to get remorseful, because realism to human is the mother of regret but why should this be so? We're blessed with a good heart and if many billionaires begins to realise that they can actually touch lives not because they're at the point of death then the world will be a better place.

I must confess this is a very deep write up sir and very apt for the very moment and beyond well for those who will take it to heart without the feeling of guilt in the line of self condemnation. I will wrap with this, A Preacher in a funeral service once said; " At the point of death, it is perceived and thus inferred that people at the point of death often see where(their final destination) and for most cases those who have led a terrible life regrets their actions and wished they had done better"
it is a reality that dawns at unfortunate times.
thanks for sharing sir.

Thanks for taking the time to read actually. I hope we don't get to these unfortunate times to realise how far away we really are from the truth.

There’s something about us, we get carried away by the daily trivialities. We forget about how mortal we are and how delicate life is. Coming close to death makes it front and centre and forces us to think about those realities.

Exactly Ade, the truth is it's often surprising that people are often this way at the point of death, it's tiring and frustrating to see that people don't actually learn from seeing the vaniteous lives of others and I'm alive but I've learnt from people who have been this way.
